Luis our server was great. Prompt courteous attentive, the best. Music wasn?t too loud, just right. Atmosphere great. Fried... Mushrooms were oh so yummy salad fresh but main course of fillet mignon was cooked just like I liked and it was so deliciousalong with my garlic mashed potatoes. The yeast rolls are soft and delicious. There was nothing on that plate or my order thatwasn?t so scrumptious. This is the best steakhouse ever the meat was so tender. I was in the mood for a juicy steak! So I wanted to give this place a try??.not what I was expecting I envisioned a thick juicy... ribeye, but no it was as flat as a piece of cardboard and so dry!!! Looking for a place to grab a quick bite on a longish drive home. I didn?t want fast food nor did I want to add an hours to the... already 6.5 hour drive. My son had mentioned Binion?s after stopping there late in the evening earlier in the week. He gave agood report so I decided to stop and try it out. I was seated immediately and Javier my server was efficient about my drinkorder and any questions he could answer. My salad arrived promptly followed shortly by a perfectly cooked steak. All was exactlyas ordered. Javier struck the perfect balance between meeting my needs and being overly attentive. Amazing food. We went here on a recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. The steaks were cooked perfect and... seasoned well. The Mac n cheese will make you drool (there's bacon in it) and the popcorn shrimp was the best I've had in a longtime. Everything was full of flavor. It was worth the 45 minute wait. Read more
Wow. Haven't had a steak steak cooked this well in years. If you're within 30 minutes off this place and need a good steak, come... here. I'm fussy with my steak. I like a blue or Pittsburgh steak. It's been years since I found a chef that could do a properPittsburgh rare, till now. Binion's cuts and wet ages all it's own steak. You'll pay a little more than you're used to butyou'll get more than you paid for. The rustic atmosphere is nice too. Don't pass this place up. Read more
Binion?s was incredibly packed when we walked in so I was surprised to only be told a 20 minute wait. In less time than that, we... were seated with an extremely nice waitress and food runner. The portion size on the appetizers was impressive, we had enoughfried pickles for 3 days and they were immaculate, especially for only $6.99. The pork barbecue was very tender and great withtheir complimentary rolls and honey butter. My luncheon steak was cooked medium well instead of medium rare and in no time itwas fixed without fuss, and they gave me the bigger portion of the steak for no extra charge. I felt the prices were reasonableand my only complaints were with the sides - a lack of salt in otherwise tasty mashed potatoes, and that my partner felt thesweet potato soufflé was not really sweet and a bit on the dry side. They had survey cards for you to fill out at the end ofyour meal and they got a glowing review from us. Read more
I'm pretty sure this place has been here a LONG time. While you are here, take a few minutes to walk around, read the signs, and... absorb the very unique atmosphere. The owners obviously have spent a considerable amount of time on it. Cool place! Food andservice were both very good. Read more
