I have decided to no longer waste my time with this establishment. One day they?re open the next day they?re closed, leading me... to believe that management is not in control of their place of business. Placing a sign on the front door it?s just not goodenough. Many people in the general area go there often met with disappointment. If establishment says you?re open. Be open! Weunderstand special circumstances as a community we all pull together. But this bagel joint is not pulling their weight.Consumers need a level of responsibility from there favorite restaurants. Get it together Joey?s Bagels! Read more
Oh, My Gosh!!...GOOD COFFEE, I've found you again...!! (And only a block & a half from the Shell with the absolute worst coffee... on which I've ever wasted my money and taste buds.) BEHOLD: this is what coffee is supposed to be. Guess I should mention, also,the bagels are top-notch authentic, too. (Be sure to listen to "the stunningly beautiful" Lisa when she recommends your firstbagel should be the Onion.) Now,...if we can just teach Joey to equally master Scones and Biscuits, this deli will truly be"Where Southerners & Yankees Eat As One." [Just joking, Mr. Joey. Bagels are the real deal. I was disappointed at the small amount of meat on the sandwich. The staff is friendly and efficient .

We were leaving Asheville to head home and didn?t feel like waiting an hour to get into a brunch spot. We happened to stumble... upon this spot off the highway on our way home and were so pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the staff was veryfriendly! Definitely give them a 10/10 and will not hesitate to stop by again if we are in the area!! Read more
New Yorker here! Been living in NC for 16 years. This is a very good bagel. They are nicely sized and a great texture. The cream... cheese is superb. My only complaint was that the everything bagel (which always seems to be most popular) had hardly any seeds,onion, garlic or salt on it. It basically tasted like a sesame seed bagel, so was a bit of a disappointment. I seen otherreviews mention this, so it hasn?t been addressed. Man if they can fix that small issue, this may be the best bagel in NC. Read more
I enjoyed my breakfast here with a friend. They have a small seating area inside. There are vegetarian options. There isn't an... accessible door, so if you have mobility issues or a wheelchair, you would need someone else to open the door for you. Read more
Ordered 2 bagels to go. After standing at the pick up counter for 30 mins I went to the front to ask about my order. (Four... customers that ordered after me received their orders first) I was given my order that apparently had been sitting there forabout 10 minutes. One of my bagels was prepared wrong, they put mayo on it when it should have been plain. (Not a big deal) Ithough it was be an easy fix. They older lady at the front counter gave me an attitude and said that?s the way I ordered it. Welooked at the ticket together. It was order correctly but made incorrectly. I did hear her asked for it to be fixed on the fly.10 MINUTES a later I had to another employee if my bagel was being made. All in all it took about 50 minutes to get 2 breakfastbagels.
