I should have known when another customer sarcastically told me ?good luck? while walking into the restaurant. I?ve never had... such awful service in my life. We sat in the restaurant for 3 hours waiting for our food (no exaggeration). They still messed upour orders, so we had to wait longer for the food we actually ordered. My Dad had lipstick on his coffee cup. The manager didnot care, and all she did was take the cup away. I had a hair inside my pancake, and I was so grossed out. Needless to say Ididn?t eat it. Went at close to 7 pm on a Friday night which isn't an ideal time but we only had about a 20 minute wait. However, it was about... 10 minutes before a server came and then we had to wait another 10 minutes just to get some water. Another 45 minute wait forthe food! This location is really all over the place. Some visits the service is good but most of the time, it is really bad. The servers... seem overwhelmed and not properly trained. They make their jobs twice as hard by not bringing all the items to the table thefirst time. There have been many times we get our food and no utensils and the server has to go back and get them but it cantake them up to 5 minutes. Why? To-go orders are always a problem. While waiting for tables, there is always an unhappy doordash driver or person to pick up a to-go order because of how long they have been waiting. Certain servers there are verypassive aggressive and neglectful to their tables. We have experienced it all but still come back. We just know to expect poorservice when we do. But the reason for me taking the time to post this review is because of the manager?s unprofessional conductlast Sunday evening. There was a table right next to the host stand that had been waiting for their order longer than they hadthe patience for and they decided to get up and leave. When they left, they stopped at our table and told us how terrible theirservice was and how they had been waiting over an hour for their meal. The manager later realized they had left either becausethe server told him or he just happened to notice. He went over to speak to the host and had a tray with dishes in his handbecause he had just bussed a table. Whatever the exchange with him and the host was; it caused the manager to take the chairfrom the table that left and slam it back into the table making a loud disturbance in that part of the restaurant. Wait to be seated was 15 minutes. But we waited 1.5 hours for food to come out kept getting the excuse we only have one cook but... yet it didn?t slow down Togo orders. Should have cut off Togo and focused on the people in store. In hindsight we should havejust left and not waited but we both really wanted what we ordered. Do better Cracker Barrel. Online ordering through their website is a pain with lots of error messages. When we checked in for curbside pickup it didn't... notify anyone so our food sat there getting cold until we could get through on the phone line. Whenever we go to Cracker Barrel it is to eat breakfast or lunch, everything it has been a good experience, the waiter or... waitress, the food, the ability to refill our drinks, the cleanliness of the plates and silverware and the person who checks usout as the cashier I would definitely recommend going here for any mealtime. I made the mistake of taking my 2 children on a Sunday after church and probably won't do that again. This review is going to be... heavily mixed some positive some negative. We were initially quoted a 40 minute wait time but only ended being about 25 so Iappreciate them over delivering. We then waited over 10 minutes at the table before receiving a greet. On the bright side Icould see that our poor server was tied up with a 9 top next to us so it wasn't that we were being ignored she was justoverwhelmed. When she took our drink order we also gave her our food order. We then saw her one time before our food wasdelivered 38 minutes later. She checked back in once after we had food and then to drop the bill. Overall experience was excellent. I went on a Sunday, and it wasn't as busy as we thought it would be, which was a plus. The... service was excellent, and we walked in, were seated, and had drinks in a matter of moments. The food was delicious.
