I have been on a personal campaign to taste test BBQ ribs at competing restaurants. TR ranks 4.75 on my taste test scale. The... previous stop was my 5. The other two were distant 2's. My sweet potato was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sampler hadrattlesnake bites (hot cheese balls), tater skins, and chicken bites (seasoned hot to taste). The sample plate was awesome. Mywife had portobello mushrooms and chicken, which she describes as delicious. Our server, Logan, was on top of his game. He wasawesome. I had the catfish plate and it was ok. The wayward long as usual. But the service was good. Cheyenne was our server and she did... very well with us for it being her first day. My husband had the ribs and bbq chicken plate. Both of our sides were bakedsweet potatoes and house salads. I was okay but I was expecting better specially for the time you wait and the prices. Every single thing was great. ?? Loved the yeast rolls. The salad was fresh. The sweet potato was perfect and the steak was... superb. Usually, my husband and I try to eat at local restaurants that are not part of a chain. Texas Roadhouse is going to haveto be an exception. We went in at about 5:30 on a Friday night and had a 15 minute wait. By the time we left, there was a crowdwaiting for tables. First off I want to say that Texas Roadhouse is my favorite place to eat. With that being said, we tried the new location and... was disappointed. Our waiter was great and it wasn't his fault. It took almost 30 min for him to get me a drink from the bar.Even the manager came by the table and I told her I was still waiting on my drink. Also a couple of the steaks were overcooked.However the manager did make that right on the bill. I realize this is a new location and I'm really hoping that they'll get itfigured out.
