This restaurant was suggested to us since we are new to the area. It was quite questionable after walking in the door but we... gave it a shot, because we were told it was excellent food. We went about 6pm on a Friday. There were minimal people in therestaurant- less than 10. Upon being taken to our table- I noticed a sign that said basically get what you can eat because yourplate will be weighed and you will be charged approximately $5 for waste. There was cheap? and I mean cheap plastic ware for usto use. We looked past that and thought okay due to Covid some people are staying careful. The waitress and waiter were at thebar playing on their phones. I traveled to the food where it was slim picking because the food looked very old and there was afilm that developed over sitting food. The Mac and cheese- oils had separated from it. I mixed it up and it wasn?t too bad. Myhusband got our Mongolian noodles as I tried to find some things to eat. I grabbed two pieces of old hard sweet and sourchicken, hard bread roll- that was hollow, general tso chicken- one piece, and a egg roll. The Pepsi was e for even tastesfunny. I must admit it took everything in me to get down the food or as much as I could because it was terrible. At one point. Inearly gagged and wanted to vomit. The noodles were the best part of the meal and even that wasn?t saying much. My husband gotsome sushi and it had gone bad. The smell was horrific. This was 3-star, but it has declined since my last visit. The chicken on the buffet was too dry to cut with the plastic... utensils that they still insist on giving you. It's hard to have a relaxing meal when signs on each table threaten to chargeyou for food that you haven't eaten; it's doubly challenging when that food is hard to eat. Yes, inflation, food waste andpandemic issues are real, but that's a significant price hike. Don't bother looking for their webpage on Google, either; theyhaven't updated the prices in ages, and some pictures on their front page are from 2012. I hate doing this since it used to bea good go-to in a pinch, but I'd give it only one star if not for the EXCELLENT chef on the grill. He definitely deserves atip! Read more

The best dinner buffet I?ve ever had in a while! We?re not from Virginia, so we stopped here during a road trip on the way back... home and the dinner buffet here was amazing! There was a wide variety of delicious food options including shrimp, crab,crayfish, clams, mussels, fish, and more! They offered a Vietnamese soup option (Pho) where you could select toppings for thesoup and a lady would boil them for you before you add the broth yourself. There was also a bar with bean and egg buns wherethey also offered marinated ribs and beef tripe. The inside of the restaurant was extremely decorative and the staff were veryfriendly. I must emphasize that their price was only $14.77 for a dinner buffet and is by far the greatest out of any Chinesebuffet we visited compared to those in Central North Carolina. Awful, for your own sake please don?t eat here. The food was terrible definitely not even remotely fresh. I don?t even care... about spending the money I?ll just be extremely happy if we don?t end up with food poisoning. I unfortunately did not look atthe reviews prior to going here and I can completely understand and see the points of the other one star reviews. Food was oldand hard, I quit eating and left hungry. Gender reveal party was loud and annoying, didn't pick up after themselves and the servers never mentioned it. The food was ok,... not great but decent. Some was cold and dried out. ???? Wow! This place was amazing! Everything we tasted was wonderful. The amazing flavors! Customer service was excellent!! Our... server was always coming at the right time we never ran out of drinks. Buffet was clean and fully stocked Hibachi bar was cleanand the cook did an amazing job! Sushi bar had many selections and was excellent! The selection was wonderful even for thepickest of eaters it has something for everyone. Restrooms were clean. Tables everything! Must try! Great for families andfriends! P.s. pricing is excellent!
