Every time I come in here this lady either doesn't have gloves on or uses the same gloves to count money then go make a burger... with same gloves. I've seen her and the tall cook with the baseball cap touch raw burgers then make a burger bun andall. Someone please teach these people about cross contamination. Last time I asked for a refund this time I just throw thestuff away. It's a guy in here counting tip jar and change then made a customers food. I see why I bypass this steak n shakeevery time. Nasty I remember coming here I asked for ketchup she tried to put on top of my fries I said no put in my hand shetold me it had to go in the bag it's like she trying to get people sick . This is the worst steak n shake in the country in myoppinion The cook always dirty touching raw meat then cooked meat buns and vegetables. He probably don't wash his hands afterthe restroom. I have stopped here many times in the past. It has always been a great place to stop for gas, clean restrooms, and cheap... burgers. This time I wish I could give this location zero stars. We placed our order inside but ate in our truck. The insidewas dirty. Everywhere I touch was sticky. The employee?s appearance was comparable to a diesel mechanic. The price on theirmenu is incorrect, prices are different than what they charge you. The food made me sick. My husband?s burger patty had a hugeplastic paper. Stopped by on a trip out of town, and I?m super pleased. Not only was the interior very new and modern eye candy, the tables and... floors were clean and fresh to match. We were surprised by how quick the food came out, and the greatness of the food made upfor their shakes being unavailable at the time? all is well. The worst part is? I don?t think I?ll ever be able to eat a burgerwithout garlic sauce again- their garlic burger was too fantastic. Ordering was fast, food was ready quick, one star. Mistake I made was ordering to go because once I got down the road and... crammed a handful of fries in my mouth only to realize they had been cooked in oil that was 2 days old?, out the window theywent! So I get the single cheese steak burger out and take a bite only to realize I had been served a ?burger? with a 1/2 poundof onions and 1/2 cup of ketchup on it, my God , never again! This was my first time to a Steak ?n Shake. I ordered a burger combo for my son and a double garlic burger combo for myself.... Food was amazing and I even ended up getting a second garlic burger because it was just that good. 4/5 stars is due to not beingable to try a Shake as they were unable to serve any. The guy at the counter was nice even though it was a little busy. I willdefinitely be back and hopefully the shakes will be available. Read more
Amazing food, just absolutely delicious, the best steak burger ever absolutely love, love love. The wait was way too long, only... 2 people working and the lady would take an order the they'd go make it, then come back serve it then serve the next customer.It was just time consuming and ridiculous, there was no sense of urgency and quite a few people walked away without bothering toorder. Only one worker doing everything on a busy Saturday. Fries were stale and cold af. Burger was fresh and okay. Best part even.... Waited an hour for service. Don't know why I even bothered because first I wanted a shake cause you know, it's in the name. Butno shakes, no chicken. Slow service. Should've just went to the smokehouse , they had like 6 workers there and I could've hadfood in minutes. Read more
