The staff was very friendly. The waitress and the people stocking the buffet were very attentive. We had a party of 6 and the... food did not take too long. Only 1 person had the buffet. The strawberry pie milkshake was very good and thick. The food wasgood. Not great, good. I would eat here again because the options for seated meals in this city were not plentiful, unless youlove fast food (Saturday around 4pm). Read more
Food was very delicious, although we wanted breakfast we didn't make it in time. But the lunch buffet was still great! Waitress... always made sure to have the drinking cup full so u didn't have to track her down to ask for a refill. Will definitely make atrip back to eat at this establishment!! Read more
What a lovely experience this was. I haven't eaten at a Shoney's restaurant in, I couldn't tell you when. My friend and I were... hungry from being on the road all day and, honestly, were expecting the worse, but got the best. Our server, Jay, was so niceand attentive. A very nice lady spoke to me while I was looking around telling me how good the cobbler was, just being kind. Thefood was excellent. My friend said she has the best cup of coffee she had in a while. I enjoyed some great Iced tea. The foodwas fresh and very tasteful. I wanted to let the manager know just how much we enjoyed our experience and as it turns out, shewas the lady whom spoke to me while I was being snoopy. lol. Her name is Dawn. My brother Jr took the family and all got the buffet. Veggies were all great. Chicken was a little hard, Meatloaf was... delicious but the Ribs were Awful absolutely Awful, tasted rancid old and dry as all get out , will never get them again if Igo back. The food is made fresh all day long, and you have the choice of their... mouth watering buffet, or choosing from an array of savory menu dishes. Either way, you can't go wrong, and you can bet, thatyou will never leave this place, still hungry. They don't have a massive amount of options, but what they do offer IS AMAZING. It was bbq night tonight and the pulled pork was... great. Baked potatoes were fresh and the hamburger steak was yummy. Shoney's was really good all around. The staff was very friendly and fast. I had the pancakes and it was delicious. The outsides... of the pancake were almost like a French toast taste to it but still fluffy. Everyone I went with got something different. Theysaid the club sandwich and baked spaghetti was really good. I had the strawberry shake and it was really good and not toooverpowering on the strawberry flavor. I recommend stopping here and grabbing a quick bite to eat. Read more
