Good food and the salad bar was 1/2 way open yay
It was a good place to eat. The food was good.
The ground sirloin wrapped in bacon was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had a baked potato and side of green greenbeans. ... Both were good but, the green beans could have used a little more seasoning. Service was great and our server very friendly.Overall great dining experience and not overpriced. Maybe since everything they cook is frozen they could upgrade the chicken fried steak from banquet TV dinners. You can tell... they're froze & paper thin, tastes like school cafeteria food. Didn't try to fix it or anything. Blah Read more
They get 3 stars cuz they could see I wasn't happy with the meal and they wanted to make it right. When you order a new york... strip and one side, that's all you get. No trip to the salad bar, no bread. Just a 1/2" piece of new york strip and a glob ofmash potatoes. Kudos to them for trying to make me happy.. Read more
Parsons is a nice, quiet place to enjoy lunch or dinner. My first time there, and as a customer walking in, is nice with lots of... booths to sit in western memorabilia art on the ledges to look at. The waitress upon arriving asks if you'd like rolls, whichare fresh baked in the oven that smells wonderful. The menu has a good selection but I felt a little over priced. A friendordered the XIT Chicken Fried Steak with a baked potato 13.99. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye intentionally to see if it was worththe price of 28.00 along with a loaded baked potato and a salad. The Chicken Fried Steak was disappointing to see. You got twothat were small and looked like something you would get frozen at a grocery store, due to the size and breading. Definitely notyour hand dipped, home cooked kind. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and extremely tender. The baked potato was good, butthe salad was less than desirable with lettuce on a plate, three carrot chunks, two cucumber chunks. Very clunky looking. Therolls were the bomb!! Fabulous!!! The only negative I really have to say one regards to the Ribeye price would be that you get achoice of two vegetables versus just one and a salad. The Chicken fry needs to be made from scratch.
