A surprising gem in connection with a tourist venue. Came to visit the gem shop next door and decided to stay for early... supper. The dinner came with a plate of bread drizzled with balsamic vinegar, fresh pressed garlic and olive oil, and shavedParmesan. An amazing beginning.! The callimari was tender with a light breading, the cedar plank salmon was done to perfectionand the pulled pork on the miners burger was an extra special touch. The meal was too much to eat, and we couldn't sample thedesserts. We ate on the deck which was nicely shaded by the hill to the west and had a lovely wild flower garden on thebehind. Great local spot, a little touristy but well worth the try, fresh made wood fired pizza is a homerun! Nice wings too. One... less star for prices, but still a good choice, so definitely give it a try! Read more
Great Great staff! Selection of food from far and wide left a bit to be desired. Stick with local fare or the pizza. Beer was... great and wait staff are amazing and welcoming. I just don't know if they have access to ingredients (prosciutto on menu wasclearly only pepperoni).... maybe if they focused on local farm fare it would be more bountiful. My Mom scheduled a private event here for a group of 30 mostly out of town relatives coming in for a funeral. Renee the owner... was absolutely fantastic in helping coordinate everything as my Mom was doing it all remotely. The food was incredible and thewait staff was pleasant and extremely attentive. Hello everyone! I see often that people are looking for recommendations for venues and food and such online So I thought to... share our most amazing experience at the Miners Table. It?s the former Crystal Chandelier up on Route 28 at the Herkimer DiamondMines. We held a bridal shower for my daughter. It was amazing! The owner Renee is just fabulous. She thought of things Iwould not have even thought of such as per menu ideas and place settings and like, everything! She knew exactly how the tablesshould be set, she had gold plate charges on the tables and candles and flowers! It was a Bridal Tea party so they startedfirst with a champagne table and placed little blueberries inside of the champagne glasses and we had a small cheese display setout to begin as the guest sipped champagne and mingled. We did not even ask for the cheese display. They just went ahead and didthat as Renee thought that that would compliment the champagne table! That?s remarkable! So also, Renee suggested a pianoplayer! I paid $250 for the extremely talented piano player and that was worth every single penny. Wow, set such a beautifulambiance! Then they began to serve the tea sandwiches on tiered plates. All handmade! It was a selection of cucumbersandwiches and egg salad and raspberry chicken salad! We also had one guest who was gluten free and they made her an entirelygluten free menu that mirrored our menu selections! They made her finger tea sandwiches in lettuce wraps! They were soconsiderate! Next came the soup course, homemade Italian Wedding soup with pastini and house made mini meatballs. Absolutelydelicious. Next course was a mixed green salad with strawberries, feta cheese, housemade croutons, walnuts and raisins with alight balsamic vinaigrette! Best buffet for a large group (150) I've had in many years. The place is a little out of the way but well worth the trip. The... service people operate with precision so guests aren't tripping over each other..
