The first time we went we had an ?eh? experience. Food was ok- sushi wasn?t great, the fried rice was bland. The waitress barely... came over. My husband left a tip that reflected all of this. We went again today to see if maybe the first time was just a oneoff. The waitress (they only have one, and she?s the owner?s wife) greeted us with a scowl and was incredibly short with us thewhole time. She counted loudly to the rest of the guests how many drinks we had ordered, barely took our order before leavingthe table, and to top it off complained to us that the tip we had left last time was too small. I got takeout sushi and hibachi and it was so bad I couldn't even eat the steak and chicken hibachi the rice taste like old... vegetable oil and has a film on it I literally got sick trying to eat it the "vegetables " are just onions with a couplemushrooms and 2 tiny cubes of zucchini the steak and chicken were old and overcooked for $30+ I'm very disappointed the sushiwas ok but was tiny! Decided to stop here because I was really craving sushi. First, the hand written hours sign was off putting for starters. They... also do not have hibachi open due to cook shortage. I ordered the spider roll with the steak and scallop. The salad and soup forbelow target. The salad was overwhelmed with ginger and the soup looked and tasted like warm water with a little broth mixed in.The sushi was actually to warm. Like mushy warm. Definitely wasn't sushi rice. The yum yum sauce is water down and has nosweetness like its supposed to. My dinner was not fully cooked in some ways and over cooked in others. Definitely over used soysauce and just not what I wanted. I was really excited to try this place and It definitely wasn't worth the 40 dollar bill. Willnot be returning. Read more
NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!! $88 for 3 chicken hibachi dinners, water, and a $5 edamame. Food isn't bad, very salty main ingredient... is Soy sauce. A much better place is Asuka in Boardman OH or Yamatos in New Castle PA. Don't get the Sumo portion it's the samesize as the regular single order just more money. Read more
For our experience the only good thing about this place was most of the food was warm. We reserved a hibachi table on Google,... and we get there to find they are not doing hibachi where the cook in front of you due to a shortage in cooks. So we are seatedat a hibachi table in the very back it was so cold in there no one took off their winter coats. I ordered a carbonated drinkthat had no carbonation. We waited over an hour to get our food. Altogether, we were there for 2 hours compared to other placesthats longer than when they cook in front of you. I always order the sushi and my sons love the hibachi and presentation at the grill. The chefs are happy, engaging and fun and... the food is always fresh with hearty servings. The soup and salad are so light and perfectly flavored. They?re especially kindabout indulging my kids with extra yum yum sauce. Read more
