Always the best food and appetizers! *Fried Green Tomatoes *Fresh Baked Soft Pretzels w/Beer Cheese Dip *Garlic Button... Mushrooms... yum... Every dish I've ever tried here has been excellent. My first stop after a gig at the Lakes at Jefferson.My girlfriend and I had a delightful late night snack. The wait staff was... very friendly and when I asked about the fried green tomatoes she said it was a real favorite. We very much enjoyed them and thenice cool evening on the back patio! Courtesy of a listing on Happy Cow, a plant-based food restaurant guide app, we found Vey?s, due to its inclusion of vegan... options. And the one my partner had tasted very good, a vegan chicken sandwich. We split an order of fried green tomatoes,which were excellent by themselves, generously breaded and not at all oily, served with (on the side, for my partner's sake)real crab meat, blue cheese dressing, an incredible balsamic vinegar reduction and chives. I got the non-vegan spoils, whichmade the appetizer all the more delectable. For my meal I had the shrimp Po boy, stuffed with shrimp and the works, on aperfectly toasted half-foot bun, served with a spicy tartar sauce. We're not local to Sharon, we just had an errand to run andhad been looking for lunch when we were done, but the restaurant, for all its being a bar, definitely had some unusual offeringsfor a bar and grille. Our server, a very attentive and efficient college student, made it all the more enjoyable. We ate on thepatio, which connects through, rather than to, the bar, making waitstaff have to go the long way around to serve. Make sure youtip well for their trouble. Read more
Well it finally happened. After a dozen or so perfect lunches and dinners Vey?s has disappointed. They must have hired the... cooks from Hickory Grille who don?t know the difference between Rare Medium and or Well Done. And the server obviously doesn?tknow that a Med Rare as ordered doesn?t look like well well done shoe leather I guess it was leftover from lunch time. Itwas awful and I was charged Full Price even tho I expressed my dissatisfaction. Read more
Was pretty good. Friendly waitress. Menu options are limited. A bit pricey, but I guess everywhere is lately.
From start to finish, our dining experience was phenomenal! Our service was so friendly and fast but most of all, everything was... hot and downright delish. We had the green fried tomatoes (so yummy) and our pork chop and filet were cooked to perfection. Thepresentation of every dish was served beautifully and you can tell they take pride every time a plate comes out of the kitchen.Cannot wait to come back and try everything else on the menu!
