Ate here for dinner and we’ll it could have been better. The side dish Brussel sprouts were incredible. The drinks... outstanding. But the steak was unfortunately lacking. I ordered the New York Steak and it was very subpar. Dry and just not veryseasoned. It was partially my mistake of thinking that a 29 oz New York was going to be better than an 8oz filet for the sameprice. Avoid the New York. The service was outstanding thou. Read more
Everything on the menu was delicious. We stopped by for brunch last Saturday and had a wonderful time. The service was... impeccable, we had champagne and ordered most of the menu (we were celebrating!) Oysters are always my favorite and I love themhere. Steak & Whisky is an excellent date night or special occasion choice just steps away from the pier in Hermosa Beach. The risotto... was silky, the halibut melted in my mouth. Perfect sunset view with great food. With outdoor dining, the sloped street provides a stunning sunset view. We dined here last... night with our daughter and her boyfriend. We had a great time while enjoying the food and the view. The service here wasexcellent with our waiter constantly checking on us to see if we need anything and timely taking our orders and bringing foodout. With his recommendation, we had a perfect meal. Before talking about the main dishes, I have to mention that their housebread here is to die for. Crusty hot bread with honey butter is a perfect combination. You got to order that if you dinehere. With the restaurant name after steak, we can’t have dinner here without trying their steak. The ribeye steak we orderedwas perfectly cooked to medium. The flavor of the steak was fantastic. The meat was tender and flavorful. I loved it. Thescallop dish was also heavenly. Butterly flavor created an amazing dish. This dish is not to be missed from you meal. It pairsperfectly with the steak. All the side dishes such as lobster macaroni and Brussels sprouts were very good. They went well withour main dishes. Although we didn’t order any cocktails or whisky, but from the extensive drink menu, we could tell therestaurant has very good selections of drinks. We ended up ordering a Malbec red wine to pair with our steak. It wasgood. Parking is a bit challenging on the weekend. Street parking with meters is limited. You can still find parking a coupleof streets down close to the beach in a parking structure. Read more
Authentic and very nice place! The place decoration is pretty interesting. Lots of Whisky bottle on the bar shelves! Staff were... friendly and helpfull.
