I tried this deli for the first time and I am now a fan. The corned beef was delicious. The sub roll was authentic NY. The... homemade soup was out of this world. But, the best part was Jimmy....he came around checking on tables and chatting. He greetsand says goodbye and thank you to all customers. He seems to truly appreciate the business. OMG it is amazing. The Citrus Hills sandwich was just amazing. The meat was lean, amazing bun and olive oil dressing. Simply... well worth every bite. Better than any Chain around. The best deli within an hour drive. Everything is just as it should be. Food above and beyond, service superb, friendliness... wow. Plenty of parking. Busy but always had a table. A must in this area. Worth a longer drive from all surrounding areas. Read more
This is a great little sandwich joint. New York transplants have brought a real NY deli to Citrus Hills. My rating is based on service, cleanliness, and quality tasting food. Had breakfast for two. All food cooked very good(eggs,... potatoes-). Toast a bit harder than average. Prefer potatoes cooked a bit more-seasoning ok. Service friendly with a smile. Waittime longer than normal, did not use bathroom facilities but restaurant clean. Seats close together. Not a place to visit if youdon't like sitting close to people. Had to sit at bar because no tables available. Busy location-breakfast lunch only. Niceselection of breakfast and lunch items from crossiants, muffins, & bread pudding. Very interested in trying a sub on our nextvisit and they do carry Boars head products.
