So many choices of rich creamy-ness. Food Ice-cream and all the good things. Store has a app for ordering ahead. Recommend... the app to decrease the time it takes to get the good stuff in your mouth. Plus there is a discount. I got a standard vanillashake to check out a basic favorite. It was awesome and will get me back for more. Good service and great little place to gofor a treat. Highly recommend. They even have wide straws to speed of the delivery of shake to tummy!!!! This place used to be the place to go for food, ice cream, and milkshakes. In my opinion, the past few years The Dip has gone... down hill. We placed a big order for the family and we?re told that the total was $98 dollars. We get the food home to realizehalf of the order was not in the bag as we were previously told. Also, They did not provide a receipt with the prices of theirfood, so we had no way to prove otherwise whether the order was $98. After realizing the food wasn?t in the bag, we returned tothe business where they say they overcharged because the total amount was $62. While getting the food an elderly man says if youdownload the app you could have saved $22, but you can?t do it now you can do it for next time. Let me tell you there will notbe a next time because the customer service along with the food is of the poorest quality now. You would be better off gettingMcDonald?s or Wendy?s at this point. The slushie and milkshake were good but I asked for a chicken Philly cheese steak no onions and they gave me old dried cut up... chicken breast with cheese on a Hoagie roll....needless to say I was very disappointed but didn't open the bag until I got home.And I was surprised none of the sandwiches come with a side. Did velvet cream has probably been here for a million years. Here in Hernando you will find a down home feel. Where your... manners still matter. The velvet creme is a block from the town square. Cutesy little cozy rosie town in north Mississippi. Mysister my daughter and I visited over the holidays. The food is very unique. The ice creams is so good. There is no wonder thatthis place has been open so long. I'm sure that it will be open for many years to come The amount of ice cream that comes on ascoop is outrageous. I have never had such a large ice cream in my life. It was awesome. My daughter and I visit our family andHernando a couple times a year at least. We always make it a point to stop by The Velvet Creme for milkshake or ice cream orsomething. This was my sister's first visit but I think she was happy with it. In the summertime the parking lot is full ofpeople of all ages young people kids little kids teens just hanging out eating their ice cream. It's a very popular place. Evenin the winter the hometown folks like to sit around on the benches or on their tailgate and have their ice cream or theirdinner. I think it's very whimsical and very Southern. It totally gives you the feel of 50 years ago. I totally recommendedvelvet cream and everything that they have the wedding cake ice cream is awesome I would recommend that too.
