My fiance and I visited on 10/18/22 and our waitress was Clarissa. We had excellent service, she was so friendly and... accommodating and the food was fantastic! I would highly recommend the pecan waffles. They were delicious! Thank you WaffleHouse, East Commerce, Hernando, Mississippi for a very pleasant meal. My husband and I are what I would call regulars and I ALWAYS bring a throw because I freeze in there. Nothing different tonight.... Our waitress brought his coffee and my coke and when she sat it on the table, she lost control of the coke and spilled it allover the two of us. I am upset but I keep my cool but I?m sure she could tell I wasn?t happy about the situation. She was veryapologetic for the mishap but her mistake was going to the other woman in there because she was the least professional personI?ve EVER been in the presence of. She leaned down on the short bar and told our waitress that ?no one down here will show youmercy, things happen?. Well I didn?t say anything to them but I did tell my husband ?she obviously has no idea what mercy isbecause I didn?t go off nor did I get up and beat her ass?. My throw can only be spot cleaned, not washed, not dry cleaned, butspot cleaned therefore my throw is now ruined so yes I?m upset but I?m far more angry about the mouth on the other woman. Thisridiculous and the worst experience I?ve ever had in my hometown Waffle House. Y?all seriously need to train your people to haverespect for your patrons. They still charged us for the meal and offered nothing for ruining my throw. To top it off, all 3 ofthe women working walked out of the building talking about me and left us inside with the child of the mouthy employee. Myhusband wanted a coffee refill but we had to wait on the one who had nothing to do with any of it to come back inside to get it.Hernando Waffle House you seriously need to do far better then this. Very very disappointing. We won?t be back because of thatone mouthy woman. She made the situation worse as far as we were concerned for the waitress. Read more

The service was very good. Our waitress was friendly. Our order was prepared exactly as we ordered and the wait was short. The... food was fresh and tasted great. Everything was very good including the waffle. Sadly though it was so flat and it had thetexture more of a crepe than a waffle. I will go back but probably won't have their waffles again. Read more
Courtney was my server. She made fresh coffee and then made my pecan waffle. I haven't had that item before. It was light and... fluffy, with several pecan pieces in each bite. Six dollars including tax - not bad! The restroom was clean and everythingworked - including the air hand dryer. WH restrooms are large single seaters. They seem easy to clean since walls and floor aretiled. The only concern for me is lack of masks. The employees aren't wearing them and there is no sign suggesting masks forcustomers. At least they have nice acrylic partitions between tables. This WH was very serious about masks a few months ago. Read more
Good little Waffle House with a positive attitude. I prefer this one over the others because it is a corporate store and is... managed well. I over all will suggest getting the Texas bacon patty melt with onions. Overall great experience! Will be backsoon Read more
