Not a good value for the cost. We ordered vegetarian nachos, which came with hardly any toppings for the amount of chips -... cheese, beans, a smattering of pico se gallo, and tiny dollops of sour cream and guac. Nothing else. No rice (even though themenu mentioned it), lettuce, roasted vegetables, corn, salsa, anything. And the included guac was added with the smallestice-cream scooper I've ever seen. And this was a whooping $12. I'm shocked this franchise is even holding up to comparablecompetitors. Read more
The food was pretty good. Always enjoy their fresh tortillas and enchilada style burritos. The staff was extra friendly to throw... on some fresh queso for me an hour before close. When I'm in the area for work I'll probably visit again. Read more
This is one of my go-tos! Far superior to chipotle, the food is fresh, the tortillas are BOMB. I also love this spot so much,... because of the friendly and caring service- shout out to Elvis and Noemi! I always feel so welcome here and I often walk in andthey already know my order. Read more
Food is tasty, some of the items don't seem fresh but the service is inconsistent. Don't know why, last time the cashier was... quite rude. I want to like this place, but I am not sure if I will go back. The young lady who was the cashier and part of prepdidn't seem to want to be there. She just wanted to back to her seat looking at her phone. I have had good experience atAlexandria and Chantilly location. Maybe I should just go there. Read more
The staff wasn't the friendliest of staff. But they were very fast and accurate. Which is very important because I have not had... that experiences at a lot of the Cafe Rio's. But I have noticed that the prices on the board did not match what I was charged.If prices have gone up it would be nice to know that in advance. Read more
I'd leave 0 stars if possible. I personally really like Café Rio, but this location has made us never want to order from them... again. My mother in law ordered a meal from them via post mates and when the driver delivered it my meal (nachos) was a tacosalad and our chips and guac had no chips. I checked the receipt that came with the bag, and the order was listed correctly onthe reciept so either our order got mixed up in the restaurant or the restaurant didn't read it correctly. My husband went backto ask for a refund/our order to be fixed, and the manager told him he couldn't do anything and the third party app wasresponsible for the refund. When my husband said post mates wasn't responsible for the incorrect food another employee gotinvolved and asked why we didn't bring our food back and effectively accused us of trying to scam/steal food. Overall a very badexperience with poor customer interaction. We won't be visiting this location in the future. Read more
I decided to eat lunch in Herndon off of Elden Street at the Cafe Rio Mexican Grill. The Cafe Rio Mexican Grill is in the... Herndon Center shopping center at the front of the street before entering the shopping center. Upon entering I found it a littleconfusing where I was going to order my food, but with the help of the associate I was directed to the right side of therestaurant where I would order my food. I wanted the Taco platter with the Carne asada, lettuce, Pico Del Gallo, rice and blackbrags on the side. It was presented to me in an aluminum tray in case I wanted to eat out and not dine in. But as usual I liketo dine in to get the full experience and observe other patrons expressions while eating in. The food was okay. I had issueswith the black beans being soaked,I weighs of preferred them a little dryer because it turned the rice into soup. The taste ofthe tacos were good although I didn't ask for hot sauce, the taste was solid. Overall a good place to eat, but very expensive.When I went online, the same order was half the cost, which I found strange. So be prepared to spend your dollars here if youcome with a friend or family. Read more
