I’m pleasantly surprised, no scratch that! I’m thrilled to have discovered this Pakistani/Indian breakfast spot in Northern... Virginia. I was visiting my surgeon’s office when I decided to Google poori choley restaurants near me and was not sure ifthis restaurant was would live up to the image of the good reviews it’s receiving on Google. Love how spacious and colorfullythis restaurant is decorated from the inside. The cashier is a very nice and easy to talk to young woman. I am more than happyto have visited this restaurant. I ordered their regular poori choley plate, halwa (sweet dessert), with keema (ground meat),tea and gajar halwa (another dessert). The poori bread was crispy and flakey. The chickpeas remind me of the chickpeas my familyused to enjoy back in India when I was a kid. The halwa is not overly sweet and the food isn’t overly greasy like somerestaurants can make it. The keema is delicious although a bit spicy for my taste. The portions are sizable for the price. It’s too much for me to eat by myself so I packed some of it up for my husband. Now I know where to come next time I have acraving for authentic poori choley breakfast. Read more

Loved the quality of food here, small simple menu with yummy breakfast in decent quantity to serve your appetite. They service... staff was a little non communicative but did deliver requests for small add ons or specific Ala carte directions about dishes tothe chefs and results were good too. We ordered a veggie halwa poori nashta that came without the minced meat side and insteadwas served with some aaloo dish, o e lacha paratha and one veggie omelet without the cheese in it , also an order of chaplikabob paratha wrap all came out good and yummy. The tea was ok, needs work and could be a lot better. Read more

Overall, average Pakistani diner brunch when you're feeling too lazy or just suck at making basic Pakistani dishes. Friendly... service. If you're in the mood for halwa puri channai, make a u-turn and go to Khan Kabob for now. Nehari - average, and a lacarte pricing is annoying (bread extra, wth?) Channai - terribly below average, needs improvement. Chalky taste. Halwa -average, make it drier Chicken Keema - average, comes with halwa puri combo. Puri - fresh, good, but overcooking makes itgreasier, as oil seeps when fried too long; timing is key. (Thanks for not using Costco chapati!) Naan - good, fresh from thetandoor Chai - good, would prefer a little stronger French toast - average; they need to use challah bread. Scrambled eggs -poor, eggs were overcooked & lifeless. My son was ticked. Read more

Authentic Pakistani breakfast. Great service and food, we drove a hour to get here and it was well worth it. Restaurant was... clean and host was very attentive to our needs. Chai was amazing. There was a bit of a wait (although it was peak Sundaybreakfast time) and it was on par with similar restaurants prices wise as well. 10/10 - highly recommended. Read more

We went there as a group. I ordered keema which was extremely tasteless. They have bottomless chaye and chaye was good.... Everything seemed a little low on salt. On the halwa puri platter, alloo were the best. Nihari was also average. Read more

The chai is strong with this one! This is a solid concept. Desi breakfast all day, everyday! Especially puri halwa, which is... often limited to weekends or in the pre-lunch hours at most places. Just for this reason alone the place is a must go. ???? Weordered puri halwa (carnie option) that comes with qeema matar instead of vegetables. The puris are true to the original recipe, the kind I have had in Lahore. Kudos to DBC for getting that right. The qeema has my stamp of approval ???? I tried the plainlassi, it was good. We also had a paratha that was pretty standard, and paratha crepe that is kind of a fusion thing and whileit tasted ok I didn’t care for it too much. I’d stick to the puris :) The chai is killer. Strong, doodh-pati style fare. Iespecially enjoyed that they had the person walk around with a big thermos and gave us refills. Brought back some fun memoriesof family gatherings. Service is excellent. The people here are a friendly bunch. Decor is pretty good and 100x better thantypical puris hole in the walls. I enjoyed the whole atmosphere. Will go again. Suggest you do too. Read more

We heard from our friends that this place is good, so my wife and I decided to check it out. We drove for about 30 minutes and... were not disappointed. I called ahead, but the person on the other end of the phone said it wasn't necessary if there were onlytwo of us. On a nice sunny but chilly winter day, we went there for Saturday brunch. The first impression was excellent. Thehost was friendly, and he anticipated what the guests would want and went out of his way to accommodate them. He used to be achef, it turns out. We were both craving nihari, an Indian subcontinental beef stew. Nihari (Bengali:, Hindi:, Urdu: ) is astew from the Indian subcontinent, according to Wikipedia. Nihari is made up of slow-cooked meat, primarily shank meat from beefor lamb, mutton, goat meat, and chicken, as well as bone marrow. Long pepper (pippali), a relative of black pepper, is used toflavor it. To go with the nihari, we ordered the puri from the menu. The combination was delicious, and even though my wifesaid she was only going to eat one puri, she ended up eating both. The chai went perfectly with the meal. The setting is modernwith a strong Indian subcontinental vibe. Our server neglected to mention that the chai was an all-you-can-drink deal. So it wasa fantastic deal for those of us who enjoy chai. This restaurant is a subset of the charcoal chicken restaurant in Chantilly, orvice versa. However, as part of their other restaurant, the food quality was excellent. As a personal preference, I prefer tosee the targeted ethnicity in an authentic restaurant, which this restaurant did admirably. So, if you're looking for authenticIndian or Pakistani cuisine, this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. Read more

Nice desi place for breakfast - great ambience. Wide open and bright. What I liked the most was the service - everyone was at... his/her best starting from greeting as we entered to each step. We ordered all sorts of food - liked the egg omelette very muchas well as the spinach. Aloo paratha could be improved. Also I believe prices were a bit high - although I was visiting and Idid not have another restaurant in the area to compare to. Read more
