Ned’s is an unpretentious local bar, conveniently located on Centreville Road next to the clock tower, close to the toll Road... and Route 50 in the Herndon area. I’ve frequented this place for years for numerous types of occasions, most of theminvolving having a few drinks with my colleagues and friendly chatter. There is a robust seating area out front with a sectionfor smokers. The outside area is covered so you can sit there comfortably almost year-round. The view offers the impressiveparking lot that is available, but who’s there to enjoy the view anyway? Inside, it is cozy and welcoming, with old signageand heavy wood furnishings. The staff is friendly, fairly expeditious, they have great happy hour selections, and the mood isusually, how to describe it… peaceful and comforting? I don’t know much about their food, but their bangers & mash areBANG! We had a retirement party, with about 100 people, here and I must say it was fantastic! What a great space for a party. There... is a new chef (only 2 months) "Aaron Stevens" and he is absolutely phenomenal. The owner "Gordon" is such a nice guy andextremely accommodating. Everyone was raving about how great the food was and what an incredible spread. HIGHLY RECOMMEND thisplace, especially if you are looking to celebrate a birthday, graduation, or any kind of party. We are coming back for the livemusic on Friday night and the DJ on Saturday. They also have line dancing and trivia. 5 STARS all the way. Thanks for anincredible time! Read more

This was so cool. Random and had a good time. Drinks were nice, and the platter was Devine. Our server was okay, nothing to... cheer about. Would like to come back on a sports game night. Space was clean and crowd had some sense. Read more

Mmmmm Corned beef on cabbage and mashed taters.. finished off by a cold IPA... Bartender made good recommendations

Tried shrimp scampi and chicken nachos as one of their specials on a busy Monday evening. The food is finger licking. Cocktails... like mules and martinis are not pricey and tastes premium.Only con is their wait time is pretty much and every-time we had todouble check on the waiter. Read more

Firstly, the front desk attendant greeted us pleasantly and showed us to our table. The ambience was good and these two reasons... are the why I’m giving 2 stars. The food was below average. The appetizers (fries and chacos were okay) but the main courseitems (fish taco, chicken taco, and the Cajun Chicken pasta) were bad. The fish taco literally had a strong and unpleasant odor.When I informed the the person serving us, they said they can’t do anything as that’s how fish tacos smell. I’ve had fishtacos in other places many times before and this is the first time they smelled this way. The chicken taco was missing thepineapple salsa. We requested the pasta to be creamy but it was dry. Overall the place was nice but the food was not. Read more

Came on a Monday night. A good crowd but the place was weirdly quiet. The website has a photo saying “half priced steaks” on... Mondays, but they’re actually only “discounted” by $4-$5. They were delicious so no complaints! Read more
