Great place to stop for a latte or london fog, both are always done to perfection. The pastry selection rotates every day - if... apple turnovers are available, do yourself a favor and get one. Or if you're looking for an extra treat go for the chocolatecheesecake. We've also stopped in a couple times for a panini around lunch - the menu rotates but you can't go wrong with anyoption. VERY good coffee, variety of excellent sandwiches, lovely store with all kinds of Italian goods (not exactly cheap, though),... friendly and professional service, nice seating area both indoors and out. Love the gallery/studio upstairs. Will be back! Read more

One of the best cafes in HRM. Great baked goods and good coffee. Sandwiches are surprisingly good and the little grocery is... useful in a pinch. Shame they're so far out of the city but if you're out that way you can't do better. Read more

My first time visiting this lovely cafe. I can?t say enough good things about it. The sandwiches were delicious and the baked... goods were excellent but I have to say the best part of this shop was the COFFEE! By far the best brewed cup of coffee made toorder that I have had in years. A lovely spot to unwind and we can?t wait to go back again! Read more

A touch of class and comfort. This little cafe is something you would expect to see in an urban setting, but it a hidden gem on... the Herring Cove Road. It is such a treat to stop here when you are going for a Sunday drive or visiting the area. My husbandloves the ambiance and the food and coffees here. Service is usually good, and you can feel the community atmosphere in thecafe. Neighbours know their neighbours. A bit on the pricey side for a coffee shop though. The food they serve is the usual fareof cookies, sweets, and they do serve soups and sandwiches. The soups are very good and worth it I think, and the sandwiches aregood, on the gourmet side, not your average sub-shop sandwich. Read more
