I normally don't do long reviews, but when going in on something this expensive you should know what your getting. Had a... reservation for 7pm, told when we arrived they weren't ready and to just stand in the corner. Waited 15 minutes past thereservation to get seated by a hostess crew that was visibly a mess and lacked any communication skills... That beingsaid; The moment we were seated it was a complete flip. The server was engaging and quick. Had an extensive knowledge of themenu and great advice and suggestions. The food was served exceptionally fast and absolutely delicious! Steak had a nice smoketo it and the seafood was fresh! It was certainly a rocky start and it was expensive; but you get what you pay for, and theycertainly deliver a top quality cuisine! Read more

Food was good. Had the crab cake and tuna apps. Grilled Salmon and Bone-In Ribeye for entrees. Service was average. I've eaten... in many NY restaurants so have see some of the best. Food just wasn't creative enough. Almost felt like a fine dining placestill trying to figure it all out. Sort of like a fine dining factory churning out large portions of comfort food. This is an excellent restaurant. I had a Salmon entree and he had chicken. The portions were generous and the food was seasoned... and prepared perfectly. The server was cheerful, polite and helpful. The atmosphere was posh and romantic. We were very happywith the entire experience. Read more
