We easily made a reservation online and were seated as soon as we arrived. I had a chocolate Manhattan & my husband had a... Smuggler. We enjoyed both drinks. I dined on braised pork loin and he had the venison chops special. We enjoyed both meals aswell. Attentive wait staff. Noisy restaurant with all the small children. More of a fakehouse than a steakhouse. Drinks, apps and service were good, but the steaks were of poor quality and they have no... clue how to cook them. Ordered a ribeye medium rare with a Pittsburgh sear. Came out cold with grill marks over grey meat. Sent it back and again requested Pittsburgh sear. Came back, looked the same, except the plate was super hot, so obviously juststuck into microwave. Fatty and way too much gristle for a $61 steak?Same price as Capital Grill, but no comparison in qualityof meat or preparation. Read more
Not impressed. I had a filet, medium came out rare. Sent it back, not any better. My hubby and I swapped steaks, his was a... ribeye and medium. 2 bites, I couldn't take it. It was like eating a mouthful of salt! It was awful. The sweet potato was ok,there really is no need for all the "extras" that cover up the sweet potato. The asparagus was the best part. Though it was"old" it was cooked well. We had dessert, chocolate, peanut butter cake. It was ok. 2 bites and I was finished. A specialevening for us but there was nothing special about our dinner. $150 was not worth it. I cannot recommend this establishment. Very disappointed on every level! Had an amazing fine dining experience. The bread and butter was tasty. Children enjoyed their pasta, fruit and fries. My surf... and turf was excellent. Steak was lobster was cooked perfect. Husband ordered scallops and chocolate Martini. Tried the localbeer similar to Blue Moon and thoroughly enjoyed that as well. We even saved room for dessert the molten lava cake which alsodid not disappoint. Only wished I had been able to try the brussel sprouts that we ordered but the side of mushrooms were alsodelicious still provided 5 star experience. Wait staff was most attentive to all needs.
