There was 5 staff members at the register when we walked in (3 kids, my wife, and self). All staff members looked at us and... looked away. I personally had to greet them all and then they said welcome, which lead me to tell them "I had to greet yallfirst to get a warm welcome." Seems like i got them back on their tippy toes because everyone after us was greeted properlylol luckily my kids like the place so I left a $1 tip, even though we didn't get greeted properly. You know, you come out of work and go to Menchie's to get yourself a refreshing treat to de-stress, but unfortunately in this... location, this was not the case. Their AC was not working so it was disgustingly hot in combination with the humidity in Miami.I couldn't even be in there for more than five minutes while picking out my flavors. The chocolate toppings were also melted dueto the lack of AC and I completely understand it is an unforeseen circumstance that put them in an unfortunate position, butthen they should just either get a fan or a cooler or close for the day. Bad experience. The only upside to this was that thegirls working were very nice and very accommodating but I just don't see how they'd be allowed to work in these conditions. Read more
I can?t believe the staff was using Clorox at 3:18 pm while business operate . I have asthma . I can?t breath . I just open the... door I am pretty sure the lady pour 10 oz of Clorox in the bathroom I can smell it I can sense it from opening the main door .The business owner should take action to use Clorox closing hours only . One specific gentlemen that works there with a black beard ,has no customer service ethic.once I walked in all I can hear is... laughing, very disturbing He made fun at a 8 yr old boy calling him ?butt tooth? and that he looks like ?sponge bob?which is notvery nice and very immature. He should not have call my son or any child for that matter anything.They need to train theircustomer service to think before speaking. Especially to a child, It would not have been nice if I would to say ?It?s pathetiche works at yogurt place and he?s fat and ugly not would it.Shame cause it?s a really good place to have some sweet.
