It has been a while since I ate here. The food is not what it use to be. They were out of alot of items, so we had to choose... other items. I ordered the turkey and dressing it was lukewarm. It took about 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we'd walked in the door. Then after we were seated, it took about 30... minutes before anyone took our order. It was not busy. My food was missing the sauce it was supposed to come with, but thewaitress just kind of abandoned us. Read more
It such a nice place that my oldest grandson and I have met there once a week for 6 months and have no plans to meet anywhere... else. The staff is very accommodating, and the prices are in line with the others in the area. We enjoy and recommend our BobEvans to everyone. Read more
It was a really depressing experience. My partner and I waited around 5-10 min to be approached at the host stand. We were... debating whether to leave and right as we were about to leave to go somewhere else, someone came up to seat us. When we wereseated, the table was very wet (I don't mind this as much, because it literally takes us 2 seconds to wipe it down with ournapkins - not a big deal) However, it took 5-10 more min for someone to approach us to take our order (again - no big dealbecause I know how it is now a days). When the waitress did arrive, she took my drink order but did not ask my partner what hewanted at all, did not even ask him if we wanted a drink like he was invisible. When she came back with my drinks, the coffeewas incorrect (no biggie again), I ordered iced coffee, I received hot coffee. The problem is the waitress argued with me. Shestated "Now I had this problem with another customer the other day. They ordered one thing but meant to order another thing andstarted to point at the menu" I know what I ordered. Grilled chicken was real tough meat. Rooster maybe. Ample sides. Top shelf waitress. Great price. Update: Not crowded, 15 turned... into 30 then when seated someone vomited across there table across the isle. We moved to across the building and waited and noone showed for another 20 min. We left! Let me first start off by saying that we go to the Hickory, North Carolina location. The food is absolutely delicious but the... staff that was working the last time we went were terrible. The waiter we had put in for us 2 biscuits but we never receivedthem. The girl we had was too busy socializing with the other workers instead of taking care of her customers. We had to waitforever just for her to come back to the table to get a refill on our drink. Then whenever we were ready to go we had to waitlike 15 minutes just to get our check to go. Mind you 2 other customers had came in and been seated and she hadn't even cameover and helped them. ???? the place wasn't even busy when we went, I could understand the wait time if they was busy but theweren't. Our server was just to busy talking to the other girls working there, the were on the other side of the wall so wecould hear them talking the whole time we was there. VERY RUDE AND RIDICULOUS. My son hot the honey butter chicken he cleaned his plate I had turkey stuffing mashed potatoes it was great
Ordered online for two Thanksgiving dinners to be picked up at 12:45 at the Hickory, NC store. I was early and took a place in... line, absolutely no social distancing as the take out line was extremely long. About 1:30 an employee came to ask me what myorder was even though I had shown my confirmation to a different employee who assured me my food would be 'just a few minutes'when I took my place in line. I finally got my order around 2. Got the dinners minus the pie slices. This is not the first BobEvans to be disappointing. Will be the last. Done with Bob Evans. Read more
