Dot gave us great service! She checked on us often and and kept our coffee full. My country fried chicken was very hot but my... eggs and hash browns had gotten cool. (I'm assuming probably everything else was done 1st and waiting for the chicken to beready). Everything had a good flavor though. We were seated right away we call ahead for a reservation. The young lady that was our waitress was very knowledgeable about... product courteous and kind and attentive. We had the fish special very good, we asked for our fried okra to be fried a littlecrispy it was perfect. Who doesn't want to shop in their lobby? There was a beautiful blouse in there I most certainly wouldhave bought it if there was a different size. What I did find that I especially liked and I bought three sets of them! Veryreasonably priced it's very pleased with this find! These are little salt and pepper shakers they were 99 cents each! Love them! Read more
Another great Lunch Special at the Cracker Barrel. All this for just $10.98! This time I got the meatloaf with hash brown... casserole, pinto beans and an extra side of turnip greens. With chow chow relish, cornbread and blackberry jam. Plenty toeat! Amanda and Brandon will take good care of you. Do you need a rocking chair? They've got 'em! Went out for breakfast with my family to celebrate my birthday. We had a great meal and our waitress was wonderful. Cracker... Barrel has always been a favorite of mine and still continues to be. I love the old time decor, the shopping in the storefront &both food menus (breakfast & lunch/dinner) are always good! Read more
I went to go pick up my husband?s order this morning 7/29/2022 and it was suppose to be brought to me at the curbside but... wasn?t. I sat there for a good 20 minutes or so but no one came out to my car to hand it to me. When it says curbside it meanscurbside not sit the order on the shelf and making the customer wait for their order when it was suppose to be curbside not pickup inside. My husband ordered the food before 9:50 this morning but I came and sat in the spot 4 for at least 20 minutes. Italmost got to the point that my husband was mad. I don?t know what?s wrong with the employees there but they need to do betterwhen doing orders for customers online or at the store. This place hasn?t gotten worse with the employees.When I came insideafter my husband called them the food was cold when it suppose to be hot and fresh. Employees need to understand that customerswant their food hot and fresh. Do better or find someone who can do their job as hired. Read more
This is a nice place to pick for family gatherings breakfast and dinner. Great hospitality. They also have a very nice gift... shipping center. My favorite were the old fashioned candy that I haven't seen since I was a child. I love my experience and Iwould recommend this place to my friends and family. Read more
Very good breakfast as usual ..This one was in Hickory NC..Service was great too .
It wasn't busy at all since it was after lunch hour but the waitress kept disappearing. She never refilled drinks until I asked... at the end of my meal and even so she brought it back just a little bit over half full. I saw the guy across from me take hisown cup up for a refill. Our waitress took very long to bring requested items out or not at all which was pretty careless. Iusually enjoy cracker barrel at other locations. The ladies at the Gastonia location are sweet and attentive. For Hickory, itwas a strange experience. I do not recommend this location. Read more
