Been eating there for a long time. Monday, my daughter & I ate there around 2pm....worst pizza slice I've ever had. It was burnt... on the bottom & hard to eat. I was disappointed & it was my daughter's first time eating there. I think it was a leftover fromlunchtime. Read more

First time and last time. I'd score the pizza alone about 3.0. There were no clean tables. Food particles on the floor. ... Bathrooms dirty. Employees not friendly. Ordered two pizzas with salads, a total of $52 with drinks. Salads had tomatoes withblack spots. Pizzas had little or no marinara and poor flavor. I watched pizzas being made. Didn't see any fresh ingredients.It looked like everything came out of a can or pre cut refrigerated bags. Overpriced and over rated! Read more

What an awful first impression. Dirty tables, soda fountain not working, cranky cashier and unhappy pizzaiolo. Our party... ordered and our food was spread out. Half the people were dove eating by the time my pie was ready. And it was incomplete. Howdoes one makes pepperoni pizza without pepperoni? Tony's pizza knows how, just give out a cheese pizza. I'm undecided on areturn visit. Bad day or lose money. Definitely my worse experience at pizza restaurant. Might I recommend Greenway Pizza inMorganton or if further afield Pupatella in Virginia. Called 4 times to place order on the phone. Finally had the phone answered and placed on hold for 5+ minutes. Gave up trying to... place a phone order and ordered online via Slice through Google and order was confirmed for pickup at 8:50 p.m. Upon arrival wasinformed Tony's doesn't take orders via Slice and had no record of the order. Guy behind the counter said it would be 35 minutesfor a pizza but they were closing at 9 p.m. Not sure what the hell is going on but it seems like they don't want any ordersafter 8 p.m. Called Slice and they had no record of Tony's no longer accepting the orders. I love this place and their pizza.Most of the folks there have been friendly and give great customer service. Definitely off their game tonight. Read more

Ordered two pizzas that were delivered by Grubhub to my hotel. One pizza was fine, the other had an incorrect topping, half of... the toppings had slid off the pizza, and the center of the pizza was undercooked. No utensils, no napkins. The Grubhub ordershowed the correct toppings, so we called Tony's to sort it out. Unbelievably rude employees. Just...rude and lacking in anycustomer service skills. So, of the two pizzas, one was fine. The other was undercooked and inedible without utensils since thecenter was floppy, wet dough. I would never order from this place again based solely on the rude and unconcerned workers. Read more
