Has anyone else noticed that the Oriental chicken salad is actually a few pieces of Romain, red cabbage tossed with?. drum... roll?Coleslaw, lots of coleslaw!!! Service was good; good was blah; they've lost their touch or maybe it was just out one meal (chicken broccoli alfredo - taste... and warmth). Good food, attentive service and a family friendly atmosphere. Their menu includes chicken dishes such as the savory Bourbon... Street chicken and shrimp entree with garlic mashed potatoes. The hand battered Fish & Chips platter comes with fries and coleslaw as standard. However, you can substitute garlic green beans or mashed potatoes for the side, if you prefer. Appetizers arealso a very good option. The Crunchy onion rings come barbecue sauce on the side. Also, the mini pub brew pretzel bites arefantastic. They come with white cheddar beer dipping sauce as well as a tangy honey dijon sauce. They also have delicious wrapsand an Oriental salad which looks very good and is also a healthier option. They offer a special right now which is the 2 for$22 option. This includes an appetizer to share and 2 entrees. Maryann R made my evening. I'm a waitress myself but whenever I go out I rarely get great service but today Maryann reminded me... why I became a server. She was so kind so attentive and she actually listened when I told her I didnt like my drink. Then shetook it a step further troubled shooting to find where the problem was and try to fix it. Have been going to Hicksville location since past few years and it used to be great. Recently, their service has become poor.... Server would forget to bring plates and cutlery before food. Kids are given that paper to play with but no crayons. Wait periodbetween requests has gone up. Read more
