This is the third time I had an issue with this place. I kept giving them another chance.They keep changing prices. When... questioned they say prices are recently changed. Different over the phone, different on the menu and different online. They donot explain the price change or menu when you place an order over the phone. They make up prices and then make it seem like youare crazy when you question them. They do absolutely nothing to "take care" of their customers. No apologies no courtesy. Nevergoing back, rather go to Kabul Kabab House in Westbury or Kebab House in Hicksville!! Read more
Don?t walk just runs to eat. The best Afghan food ever. I think the price is very adorable than other Afghan restaurants. The... food portion is very large & full. Very busy place so if you can make a reservation before you go. Taking one star out becauseof the cleanliness, the tables are so sticky otherwise food are people they are amazing. Read more
This restaurant has the best Afghan food, especially if the owner (Najib jaan) is there--the food will be extra delicious. He is... also very nice and hospitable. We have been coming here since the restaurant first opened, and they don't disappoint. The ricehas such a fragrant aroma that will open up your appetite. Their eggplant is never bitter, and tastes just right--even tosomeone who isn't a fan of eggplant. The aush is delicious. They put a homemade yogurt in it, but for some reason, it tastedcheesy to me. I really enjoyed their aush even though I typically don't like homemade yogurt as it's usually sour. The chickentikka is super juicy and delicious. It isn't spicy but you can add chutney if you'd like. The lamb tikka is flavorful withoutbeing chewy. Their firnee has slivered almonds inside and is topped with ground pistachios and cardamom. It is thick andcreamy, without feeling too heavy. They used to make sheer yakh (in house ice cream topped with rice vermicelli and groundpistachio), but they stopped during the pandemic. The restaurant seems to be good, with a lot of space. The food was just ok, there are definitely better places out there with... the same price tag but much higher food quality. The quantity of food was also not the best. They sell it as a BBQ item, whichwas literally a full bowl of rice with few BBq chunks. Staff were a little edgy, as we ordered a take away near the closingtime. Personally it was a disappointing experience. Read more
