Authentic Asian cuisine just right in Hicksville. I would say one and only place for authentic Asian food on Long Island. Food... is cooked to the perfection and deliciously flavorful. We ordered dumplings. Dan Dan noodles was love. It’s so good that youmust try. Tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots was so fresh and tender. Cocktails are crafted by professional. Best one on themenu is black sesame colada. You have to have it. We also got bikini tini, U & Me. Those were just amazing. I would appreciatethe staff, services and hospitality. They also have fresh water fish and king crab just in case you’re in the mood for somefresh seafood. Read more

Traditional Chinese home style fine and high end restaurant. You are eating as if you are invited to a big traditional Chinese... family house. The decoration is unique and immersive. Service is awesome. I like the fish and lotus with sticky rice. Iespecially love the bowls and plates which are artistic and beautiful. I feel really happy and satisfied eating here. The foodtastes fresh and delicious. Not too oily or salty. It also has Chinese traditional round table which is super good for 2-3families to celebrate special occasions. Read more

You get what you pay for. Quality, quantity, it's worth everything about this place. You're not going here for chicken and... broccoli, it's not your American Chinese food, it's the real deal, it's authentic and it's amazing! You enter this place with ahappy welcome from the staff. You see the beautiful bar and then walk past the fish tanks, but these are not your typical tanksfor display. These are your fresh fish tanks. As I said you get what you pay for and fresh is what you get when you order thefresh fish of the day or the king crab legs. You want frog legs well you can have frog legs, and yes they taste likechicken!!! Peking duck, they have it. Dan Dan noodles, oh yea they have that Lamb and scallions with buns, yup got them too. Excellent decor like everyone said. Service was great. Taste was not as good as it looks. Definitely overpriced for the portion... and could probably improve rating by decreasing price or increase in portion. I will come again next time to see if there areany changes because overall I enjoyed it. Read more

We had an amazing experience at O Mandarin today at lunch. Kudos to Veera, our wait staff. She is pleasant, attentive and... friendly. We ordered the marinate blackear app and fish fillet in Chilli oil, fish in wine and garlic sauce for our entrees. Thefishes were tender and packed with flavor. We ended our lunch with the Traditional 8 piece dessert. Every piece has its distincttaste but not overpowering. Paired with chrysanthemum tea. Read more

We did reservation for 4 on a Friday night for dinner. The place is beautiful and decor makes you feeling like you just been... transpoted to mainland China. The resturant was packed and you see fresh seafood in water tanks adjacent to the bar. We ordereda few appetizers and picked a few mains to share family style. Majority of the appetizers were very tasty and service is superfast. We also ordered some cocktails but not impressed with their mixology services. The main dishes were just ok nothingspectacular. The tea smoked duck was very high in sodium and we told our waiter and he said he can't do anything for us andrecommend us to dip it in the side sauce to balance the salt. We also ordered frog legs and it was a stew with few pieces offrog, tasted like chicken but not a "wow" dish. The shrimp dishes were very fresh and seasoned perfectly. Overall it is a goodplace but you really have to know what to order from the menu. We scoped a few Asian family's table and they had nothing closeto what we ordered and probably knew the menu better. We are going to try again and see next time we hit the jackpot on the maindishes so we really have a better dining experience. Read more

Nice decor and good service. A few dishes are overly salty. The spare rib soup is tasteless (and cold bec we didn't drink it... immediately...). The pea shoots ?? veggie is tender, and yummy. The wine glass is on the heavy side. A friend paid for themeal. I think the bill came at about $200 (three adults and three kids) and he probably added 10% for the tip. The waiting staffcame to ask ... and he added more, to 15%. 10% is low, according to the unwritten rule. But, tip is a tip, I don't think thestaff should confront anyone over it. I felt the service was adequate - I prefer not to be bothered. But he may not like it thatway, and feeling being under served. The staff could have helped us with the soup, for example. It sat there for a long time... Read more

We live nearby—watched this place get built. It is incredibly breath taking. The decor is unreal. And the food... matches—everything tastes complex, well prepared and fresh. This is authentic food. So good. Read more
