The chocolate is amazing. The store is setup with like a gift shop in an old wood house. It has a wrap around porch with tables... that you can sit outside and enjoy your chocolate. It would be a great place to buy a unique gift for that hard time buy forperson. They have t-shirts and other novelties. It was an all around fun place to visit. Read more

I'm a chocoholic, so this place was a necessity on my trip to Hico. I loved everything I tried. I bought way more than my doctor... would approve. They provide plenty of chocolates for tasting before buying. Read more
Such a cute shope. The wild woman chocolate bar is so good. I have a dairy allergy and they have several products that don't... have dairy. They were very knowledgeable on which products were dairy free. Would highly recommend. Read more
I'm giving this place 5 stars on behalf of my wife. She loved the shop. I enjoyed the historical side of the property.
Their signature "wild woman" bar, mocha chocolate and dark chocolates are in another level... They have a variety of other hard... to find chocolates and the staff is extremely kind. I'll go to the Wiseman House on every chance I get of traveling by Hico. Read more
This is not your typical tourist fudge stop. The place is beautiful-and it?s more than just chocolate. Gifts and so much more.... And it?s beautifully appointed. I just can?t get over how lovely the place is. You could literally knock out all your holidayshopping right here. Look - don?t go home empty-handed? Store is laid out very friendly and, the variety of chocolate and chocolate's cousins is overwhelming, but I prayed before I... went in which helped me not buy absolutely everything...and be careful read the sign that says "these are not for tasting" andtake the other ones that are next to it please. next time I'm bringing enough money to buy one of those white chocolate coveredapricots ....those have got to be undescribable greatness!!!... Wonder how they can look themselves in the mirror knowing thetemptations that they provide the unknowing public, but I have to say thank you, thank you very much, over and over.
