What a gem to find! Not only a respite from a long weekend of hiking, but truly a culinary delight and great atmosphere to... relax and ruminate. Starting off with a delicious homemade soup and tasty calamari and then moving to one of the best braisedshort ribs we have ever had was a treat. I had a well portioned cedar plank salmon with an absolutely delicious fennel creamsauce. Brigitte could not have been more kind and welcoming to our 3 children who enjoy good food and flavors. We then indulgedwith the apple crisp, the homemade cheesecake, and chocolate brownie sundae? the brownie was my favorite but it was a toss up!We will be back every time we come back to this area! We are visiting the area from DC and found Spy based on reviews. We came in late on a Friday. Our server was very attentive and... warm and seated us promptly even though our reservation was for later. The Atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The food wasacross the board excellent. The cooking, ingredients, and presentation were all top notch. In fact the food was so good we ateat Spy the next evening as well. This is an excellent and sophisticated gourmet restaurant that should not be missed. Read more
