I had an issue today and the owner went above and beyond to make it right. I’ve never had as good of service as I have had... there with Brea and Austin. Great food and great people. I was so happy with the owner today that I ate dinner at grand slam forthe first time (which he owns as well). Waitress Sheryl there was awesome and so fun. Thanks for putting up with us. Heard good things about this restaurant. Looking forward to it, especially after a very pleasant evening at Grand Slam the night... before. This was not the same.\n\nBiggest problems were first, staffing. I know this is an issue at a lot of places, but if youare going to seat the whole restaurant, you need to be able to provide service.\n\nThere were three wait staff (should have beenfour), and no one at the bar on a busy Sunday morning. This forced the three to also make there own drinks.\n\nWe waited a longtime for our food, our server was very inattentive.\n\nSecondly, my food was inedible in its preparation. Did not say anythinggiven how long it took to get our food in the first place. Even when removing our plates, our server still did not question tosee if something was wrong since she was taking away an untouched plate.\n\nAnd the air conditioner was not working. O..M..G! My new favorite breakfast place! Had the Puff Benedict... never had anything like this..incredible! The fried potatoes... were even better than my grandmas.. which says a lot! We ordered 1 rolled strawberry pancake for dessert! We couldn\'t finishour meal, let alone the dessert! Portions are huge! We could have shared one meal and 1 rolled pancake! I\'ve been here twice now. Best omelets ever and the serving portions are huge. My favorite is the Mediterranean... Omelet.\n\nCoffee is good. Each coffee mug I\'ve had so far is a little different and has a unique, chicken themed saying onit.\n\nThe breakfast bacon and cheese croissant is also tasty. However, I prefer the omelets.\n\nOn one side of the restaurantthey have a display case of desserts. I would love to try the gooey butter cake. Service is excellent. I will definitely beback! This was not our intended destination but I’m so glad that our first choice didn’t work out.\n\nFriendly young man working... the host station. Lots of staff roaming around, though we didn’t see much of our waitress. Plenty of tables and chairs, sobring a group if you want.\n\nThey did have mimosas on special, it was a Sunday, and other drinks were available. I was superexcited to see that they offer breakfast during their operating hours. By the way, they close the doors at 2pm, but will seatyou up until then.\n\nMy wife ordered the spinach and sweet potatoes omelette. Yeah, it sounds really strange but she said itwas good. I decided to get a custom omelette and added on a side of gravy (since I chose a biscuit as my bread). The omelettewas mega awesome. The biscuit, while it could have been a bit warmer, was clearly homemade.\n\nThey have quite a few gooeybutter cakes, among other desserts, though we didn’t take any with us. I’ve been there twice now. And plan to go again today! Eating here is like eating in a food commercial because everything... looks and taste so perfect. The first time I went it was not very busy and service was great the second time I went the placewas packed and service was still great! The candied bacon took my bacon experience to a new level. And the rolled pancakes haveme drooling just thinking about them. It is not a cheap eat but it is right on point for the food and service you get. Read more
