This dinner is everything!! An absolute must when in High River. The service was exceptional! The gals working there were super... sweet and really engaged my bf who was just blown away by thier ice cream...which was phenomenal btw. The banana split wasinsane - you can choose which of thier homemade ice cream you'd like in it,but good luck choosing, they all look amazing! Thefood is insane and all looks so delicious. Plus, there are quite a few vegetarian options.The decor is so darn cute and just howyou'd expect a dinner to look. We will definitely be stopping in on our way back through. We happened to be watching 'You got to Eat Here', and Evelyn's came on and I saw this humongous chicken sandwich. Right there... and then, I said let's go to Evelyn's for lunch. I've never been disappointed with the food and service at this diner. Portion sizes are perfect and the quality of food is well... worth the money. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. Whenever I'm working in High River, the anticipation of havinglunch at this diner makes my day. There are still so many items I haven't tried yet and I'm looking forward to samplingeverything on the menu eventually. Thank you for an excellent experience every time. Read more
One of my favourite surprise road trip finds, ever! What a gem. Delicious homemade food made with love, with lots of healthy... options (I had soup and salad combo w/ beet salad, homemade potato leak soup and fresh bread and it was so good!) They also havelots of treats, the carrot cake was amazing and they have their own homemade ice cream which I?ll have to return for! Best ofall, the food was fast and the staff were incredibly friendly. I wish this place was based where I live as I would go at leasttwice a week! Read more
Was disappointed ???? They where out of quiche. First time in with new owner. The food is not quite the same. Not as good ???? ... sorry had to say that. Broccoli salad tasted vinigery. Didn't taste like the creamy sweet Greek yogurt. My sandwich was a bitdry. I couldn't get the waitresses attention so I just ate it. Portions are still really good. Floor cleanliness is not asgood. Dirt building around edges of bench seats. But we will be back , need to try the quiche hope it's the same ! Read more
