Get cut off in the middle of making your order , then wait 1/2 hour for your order in the drive-thru...get rushed and told to... move when you go to verify your order and make sure you got everything you needed/order ... for them to not put utensils andnapkins in bag. Pretty underwhelmed. What is the point of asking me if I want sauce if I find none in the bag? Mexican pizza seemed made... sloppily. Soft taco supremes missing the sour cream. I havent been to Taco Bell in over a year. Now I remember why. Thanks forthe reminder Highland crew! Read more
First of all sometimes Taco Bell in Highland IL gets everything correct and food is good However sometimes it?s not. I just... went through drive through because lobby is closed. I ordered 6 crunchy tacos and 6 soft tacos. The soft tacos are ok but, thehard tacos taste stale or old shells were hard and not edible. I called Taco Bell to let them know, The man that answered thephone said he was the manager He did not give me his name. I told him our tacos were stale or maybe old I then said you mightwant to look at them he said?they are not stale we just opened them? then I heard loud music and the man did not come back tophone he hung up. I tried calling back but there was no answer. When I drove through the drive through originally it soundedlike they (Taco Bell employees) were having a party loud music was playing. This place almost always gets your order wrong. I once ordered chips and cheese and they didn't cook the nachos long enough that... they were dripping in oil, weren't hard (flimsy), and had the texture of cartilage. Every time there's a long wait and theydon't have a good portion of what we order. The drive thru is constructed in a way where you can't escape if a crazy lady (whoclearly is upset her order is never right) decides to boycott and not leave, trapping everyone in line. We were there for 40minutes until the cops were called and instead of remaking our order, they gave us cold food and, yes, it was missing something.I've never had such a consistently bad experience as I do with this place. Be prepared to wait in a long line, for cold food,missing items, little food (sometimes they fill the chip bags half full), or poorly packaged food (we had a Mexican pizza stuckto the box bececause they put the pizza top (melted cheese) side down first so you have half the cheese stuck to the containerand unable to scrape back into your plate or mouth. This place goes leeps and bounds to make your order wrong and yourexperience unbearable. Never seen such a consistently bad take out place in my life. Grill was broken to begin with so there goes half the menu. Ended up switching up our orders anyway and ended waiting 20 minutes... without anyone else in line only to get food that was cold enough to of came outta the refrigerator. Chicken not up to standards!! Fryers need to be cleaned!!!! I work as a manager for 26years as a manager in chicken. Bad... bad food. My brother was sick and wanted some fried chicken. Never again. What is with it and these people getting simple orders wrong lately? Ever since they?ve hired new people it?s been terrible. All... I get is a simple cheese quesadilla. Past 5 times I?ve gone I?ve ended up with chicken. It?s ridiculous. Not to mention sincethe first time I?ve been checking them before leaving the parking lot. Today I did it again and it looked fine. Came home tofind out the one slice I checked just didn?t have chicken on it at all and the rest did. Which is also ridiculous. Read more
