Been going to Schlafly since they opened the original Tap Room in St. Louis. Really appreciate having this new location walking... distance from my house and that the location is on the square in a historic building. Best beer around with a constant rotationof seasonals. Great local brewery. Good selection of beer and the food was outstanding. I had both of there IPAs and would highly recommend... them. Also really great service. I've been told by friends that their pumpkin ale is some of the best they've had anywhere.Unfortunately they were out of it the day we were there but maybe the next time I'm in town. If your in Highland or near one ofthere other locations Schlafly's should be a definite stop. Read more

My best friend we went to have a small meal and drinks. The atmosphere was lovely. Just a nice relaxing time. Food was good.... Service was excellent. It was a very quaint and enjoyable time. I would definitely recommend it. We will be going again forsure! Read more
I love the patio, especially when there's music. Also the lawn games. Draft beer is reasonably priced. Menu is on the pricey... side. Biggest minus to me are the white interior walls, which don't provide a warm, comfortable, inviting feeling to me. Read more
The waitress was super nice and gave recommendations for both food and beer. I got the Schafly Smash burger with a side salad... and a Tom Collins plus one shot of tequila. All of it was good, the Tom Collins was smooth and the burger was freakingdelicious. Everyone else at the table loved their food as well. Read more
I just moved to Highlands Illinois from Denver Co. It is so nice to have such a great brewery here in town. The beer, food, and... service have been great each time I've visited. It was a cold night, but I didn't expect it to be cold inside the restaurant. The service was very good--warm, friendly, and... efficient. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The beer selection is as amazing as you'd expect at a top-rated brew pub. Itried the beer bread with blue cheese spread and bacon jam.
