I live in Oak Lawn, IL. This is the closest most desirable cafe that I can find. That includes the franchises (which let's be... real, aren't real cafes). Good vibes and I like the old wood/rustic, dare I say antique furniture. They have expanded the spacewhich is a huge boon as well. I don't think I've ever had any food here, aside from a random donut maybe once. But the coffeeand tea is what keeps me here. That and the courtesy of the staff. The food here is great. I have been coming here for the past two weeks to study and have had no problems. I brought my dad here... yesterday for breakfast and the service was horrible. We were sitting enjoying our breakfast as a homeless man who is droolingcomes and pulls a chair to our table and sits with us. The waitress proceeds to help the man and cook his ramen instead ofasking him to move. We support them helping out the homeless but we are eating and they gave him better service than us. Hishands were filthy and he smelled, it?s not what we wanted to deal with while we were eating our food that we PAID for. He wasalso allowed to use the public restroom which is very unsanitary to me. This visit really made us not want to come back. Theonly reason I gave 2 stars was because the last visits were perfectly fine but this is just unacceptable. Read more

lowkeyy a chill and awesome place good stuff and all but y'all totally shouldn't have painted it black should've kept the other... color it gave it an older vibe / more vintage and the black just feels out of place with the red and blue. the red and blue eveninspired the paint in and outside my house. maybe next time whoever does the paint job not make it look so out of place. i useto drive past the place when it was still the old color and we'd always talk about how pretty it was and how it was the onlyactually nice thing here. love u guys tho keep up the amazing work ?? Decided to try it out with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The service was super friendly the cashier gave us a rundown of the... different and delicious types of coffees they had.
