I wish I could give a negative rating. So we went there yesterday for my daughter's birthday. We ordered the Mediterranean... fritatta (no mention of bacon on the menu). I couldn't finish it there got left overs and I see bacon in it. We do not eat baconat all. This is so not done. You can't play with one's religion like that. Read more

Food is good but they need to step it up with their customer satisfaction. Every time I order something for take out, they... ALWAYS get something wrong or miss something. Either they get the cheese wrong or miss something. I've asked for their homemadebutter, they said they'll put it and they don't. This time, they completely missed putting the eggs and cheese on a skillet,something i paid full price for and their priciest skillet on the menu AND an order of pancakes that comes with an omelet. Howdo you miss that? Who's checking to make sure all the ingredients are on the dish or that nothing is missing from the order?Nobody, apparently. I'm done buying from this place. My wife and I went here this afternoon and we wanted to try it out. We snuck in right before closing, she had the pumpkin... pancakes and I had a breakfast platter. The pancakes were big and perfectly fluffy, the sausage and bacon were perfect, and thecoffee was excellent. We were the last customers of the day and I know the staff just wanted to go home; but Brittany waited onus and was very professional and extremely hospitable. She made us feel right at home and because of her my wife and I have anew favorite pancake place. Read more

The experience: Better than most. This place is pretty big inside. We were seated immediately. Our server was fantastically... friendly. So much so that when she accidentally spilt our cup of water on our table and us, we laughed it off to ease herembarrassment. Fast attentive service. Food to our table about 5 minutes after ordering. The food: Better than most. At thisprice point, Sophia's is better than most. There are tons of options. Unique specials. Enormous portions. Food comes out hotand fresh. The chef seasons the food appropriately. Understands that well done bacon does not mean burnt and that eggs overhard means no runny yolk. The cost: Average. The cost is in line with brunch spots in the area. No surprises. Sophia's didlose a star because they wanted me to pay an additional $3 for a cup to take my remaining coffee with me. ??????????????? likewhere do they do that. It's ridiculous. I'm not paying $6 for a swallow of coffee. Nah! Niche Note: I would go back. Iwould recommend. I never had a bad experience from here dining in, but the one time I get take out, I find a piece of metal on my food. Looks... like a piece of a metal dish scrub. That's not even cool. I call in to let them know that I found it and all they say is eithercome back (20min drive) or we'll just issue a credit for when you come back. How do they expect me to come back after this one?I've been looking forward eating here, only to be disappointed? No thanks. I'm good. Read more
