Pizza is good customer service is garbage. 2 deliveries in a row had horrible experience. 1st time the lady was holding my pizza... sideways and the pizza was not in any type of order and was stone cold. Second time they told me a hour and a half. Took 3hours and they refused to give me any type of discount at all. Not only was the delivery twice as long as they said but then theforgot half my side. Been eating state line for at least 20 years going back to the Hammomd location. I refuse to order fromthem again. They need to learn how to deal with costumers and lose the attitude. What kind of jerk orders pizza on Christmas Eve? Answer: that would be me. Landed at O?Hare, and called to see when the deadline... for ordering would be, because I also didn?t know how late my ride would be. Strike 2: I?m high maintenance Get on the road andmy ride is an even bigger jerk who wants to eat in at different place and goes to Homewood ?closed. Wants to pick up inMunster?closed. I ordered a 2 family pizzas , was going to spend 62 bucks , it?s been 2 hours , so I decided to call in , the guy answering the... phone got a attitude with me , he was very disrespectful, because he forgot to to put the pizza ticket through and he told me,we for some reason , he forgot to do it. I have eaten at stateline pizza for years , when my Business had party?s i order stateline pizza ! Not any more ! I will never order form the highland state line pizza!!!! Hello! This is the first time I've ever reviewed a place before about their food quality. My name is Adam. And my girlfriend... Jennifer ordered a medium deep dish pizza with fresh mushroom today the 17th of November for my birthday. First thing is first.We both agree that they have great crust. But that is as far as the praise goes. The cheese was overcooked. The sauce was bland.We could hardly taste it. But most importantly. And this is the main reason I am reviewing them. Is because it was greasy. LikeSUPER greasy. So greasy in fact that the toppings just fell off the crust. That is the main reason they got 1 star. The fact Ihad to eat this pizza with a fork because if you grabbed the back of the crust to lift the pizza up and off the rest of thetoppings went. I've had deep dish. And I love deep dish so much. I specifically asked for deep dish for my birthday. And I gotthis mistake. I was severely let down. I don't think we will be ordering from there again and I recommend no one else does. Ifyou want good deep dish, do more research than I did. Because I chose wrong. P.S. I changed my 1 star review to a 3 starreview. When I posted this I also emailed them. They reached out back to me the same day and not only did a different storeoffer to make it right, this one did as well. So I appreciate that they went the extra mile. The cheese and crust were reallygood this time around. The sauce didn't change which is honestly to be expected (although they did add more sauce). Still supergreasy but the other store said that was probably because it was just mushroom and cheese. Who's to say.
