We're full-time RVers and stayed in the Hudson River Valley area for 10 days. Stopped by Gunk Haus for lunch one afternoon and... was so impressed that we decided to come back for dinner before leaving the area. We spent 5 years in Germany and this is themost authentic German food we've had in the States. The service is amazing, the views are awesome, and the decor makes you feelas though you were there in Germany. Well worth the drive to get here! Read more

Delicious food and a very accommodating staff. We were 8 adults 1 child and a dog. We were all sitting outside, then it... started to drizzle and they put us inside. (Dog had to go to the car with his owner) Everything was awesome. Each of theauthentic German dishes had a modern twist. My favorite app was the artichokes and the chicken salad was the sandwich I ate andit was tasty. My husband had the ribs and they melted in your mouth. Also at the table, several burgers and everyone saidthey were juicy. Pork schnitzel was enjoyed as well. We will definitely be back. Read more

Super delicious menu that changes with the seasons. Tasty creative drinks and baked goods, and great views in the indoor and... outdoor space. Pro tip: entree portions are huge, and for 2 people, an entree with two appetizers and dessert is the perfectamount of food! But it also tastes great as leftovers :D Read more
