Absolutely terrible. First time, last time. Food was not ready at the same time. Cheese sticks were cold and the cheese inside... was a cold, sad block. The Cesar has tomatoes and was very bland with badly wilted greens. And the bread that it comes with isbland and cold. Chicken tenders and fries were cold and bland. The pizza was by far the worst ever on terms of flavor. SadFriday night dinner. Read more

We had lunch here a few days ago. The food was good. It was tasty. The calamari appetizer was very good ! I had the chicken... parmigiana for lunch. Only thing I didn?t like was the noodles weren?t drained enough before adding the sauce. Sauce was toowatery. Had a side salad as well, it was a nice size and complimented well. The bread served with the meal was nice. An oildip would have added well with it. Service was very slow, but then again there were 4 other tables in there. Overall not a badplace. Read more

My cousin suggested this establishment, as she has been frequenting them since the ?90s, and we decided to stop in after a day... of running amok-it was marvelous! I can?t remember ever enjoying an Italian meal quite so much. Small family run businesses areoften over looked for more accessible main stream chains, but please, take a chance on Salerno?s. While a little bit out of theway, tucked in near 407 in flower mound, it?s worth, not only the drive, but the calorie count. Josh, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable and funny- we never had to ask for refills and his suggestions were spot on. Between the three of us, we had thesteak, chicken venicia and the Sunday special, spaghetti with meatballs (all you can eat). Everything was perfectly cooked, flavorful and they give VERY generous portions (we will have left overs for a couple of days). Even being sodium deficient, Idid not need to add ANY additional seasoning. We all shared the bread pudding, served hot, with caramel, fresh strawberries andwhipped cream. In our opinion, the price and drive are justified, we will be returning to try some of our other favorites. Thankyou, Salerno?s! Read more

Great food, Fantastic Bar. Good service. Solid value. Best dinner experience for the money after dinning in this area for 30... years. I can only think of two or three other area experiences that are comparable. Read more

Best Italian food in the area. And I'm not the only one who thinks so. They got awards from 2019 to current 2022 year. Spicy... Bolognese was amazing. So flavorful and hearty like it was stewing in the sauce all day. Eggplant parmesan comes in littlemedallions instead of just a hunk of eggplant. The breading on the eggplant was DELICIOUS. Definitely recommending this placeto anyone who likes italian food. Read more

I absolutely LOVE the food here! Unique twist on some of the dishes. My favorite is the Shrimp Alfredo. Their house salad is... amazing. My husband loves the Pecan crusted chicken with an orange basil sauce. You will not leave hungry! The tiramisu ismore of a cake and not traditional style but it works and the flavor is great! I do wish it was a little more cozy and moreintimate feeling as its a huge space with concrete floors but that is definitely not going to stop me from giving them mybusiness. Read more

So I'd like to give a review as I ate here today for the third time. I really enjoy this restaurant there food never... disappoints. Today I got their caprese salad, antipasto salad and grilled asparagus. The food was excellent! The caprese saladis always great and fresh and the antipasto salad was also very very good. The vinaigrette makes this meal really pop! I alsoreally enjoyed the grilled asparagus! My only downside of the meal was that the asparagus was so large that the thicker partswere to thick to chew so I had to kind of cut it open and scrap the inside out to eat those ends. It was perfectly soft thoughso not a huge issue. The staff was very friendly and attentive ill deffinitly be back. Read more
