The service was great and the drinks were excellent! You will pay for the quality of the liquor, but MAN are they mixed to... perfection and the presentation was wonderful. The duck wings were not very good at all, $18 for greasy meat. I know duck isgreasy, but this was something else. I was a but disappointed in the menu choices but I would go back for the drinks and barservice. Read more
Best restaurant in Highlands. Had dinner on a Thursday and it was the highlight of our trip. I?m still talking about it. The... wedge salad is to die for as is the carrot cake for dessert. For main courses, I had the country fried tenderloin and myhusband had the trout - Both exceptional dishes paired with exceptional drinks. Highlands is turning into our new tradition,and we?ve been coming here the last 2 years. So glad to have Primary as our new ?primary? dinner spot. Can?t wait to return!! Read more

Beautiful ambiance, delicious cocktails, average food. Overpriced wine!!! ($25 glass of Pinot Noir, come on!) lots of items on... the menu unavailable (e.g pork chops, lamb etc) Slow service considering they were dead tonight. Read more
Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was excellent too, a very fresh salad with balsamic dressing and the... lamb chops were delicious over mashed potatoes and a demi glaze.. total yum! Read more
First time in Highlands and having a lot of trouble getting into any restaurant for dinner. We were able to get a reservation... here and very happy we did ???? We booked online and added that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the first greeting toour farewell everyone was kind in wishing us a happy anniversary. Our waiter Ken and his helper Shelby were amazing.Unfortunately my meal didn't come out right, but it was rectified immediately and was great as was my husband's. Give thisrestaurant a chance! Having eaten everywhere in Highlands, multiple times, I was expecting more of the same?good food, ok service and a forgettable... meal. Luckily I was wrong about Primary. Our accented server was on the ball, and the guy serving water never let us get low.The bean and ham soup with cornbread was like something my grandmother would have made, and the smoked bacon was yummy. To topit off, the wagyu ribeyes were darn good and only?wait for it?$48. Great place, attentive staff and a very involved owner thatchecked in with all the diners. 5 star. Read more
