Finally found a local pizza restaurant that has a traditional Chicago style pizza I have never been a big fan of thin crust... pizza till I had porky's the crust has flavor not like most crust that are soggy theirs is crisp and firm.. update:: 9 monthsago the pizza was good but the last two time I've bought pizza first tried the new had tossed pizza that tasted like frozenpizza dough so this Saturday i chose to go back and get the thin crust because i liked that because it had more flavor and theyused fresh pizza dough but instead its frozen also so I've changed my ratings from a 5 star to a 1 star so sad we had a goodpizza place hope they realize that change isn't always better as you can see clearly in the first picture compared to the lasttwo Read more
This little hidden gem hits the spot every time! Living outside the city limits, we thought delicious pizza was just out of... reach. Hello, Digiorno... :( Enter Porky's. The supreme is fantastic every time and the employees are the nicest! Regarding thecheese comments from prior reviewers... The cheese reminds me a bit of IMO's pizza (provolone... not sure if that's the answerto the mystery, but I'm resting in that theory). I know, it's not some people's thing. Don't worry, that leaves more for peoplelike me who grew up on IMO's pizza and greatly miss it living in the Ozarks. Read more
Crust was good but the canned mushrooms were a big turn off. The cheese is odd too, it?s some mix of processed cheese and... something else. Staff is nice and all and they seem to be pretty busy. But the cheese is no bueno. Read more
We really enjoyed the supreme pizza - lots of toppings. Friendly service, too.
2nd time we ate here. We had the Supreme pizza. It was great! Ingredients very fresh! It was really busy, but my order was done... very fast. We live about 20 min away, but worth the drive! Very friendly crew and even the patrons went out there way to greetyou. Read more
