THE BEST EVERYTHING for our anniversary lunch. We were transported from cold drizzle ourside to the warm glow of France in the... current diningroom decor. Perfect in every way. Anette and Rodrigo served us impecably with grace and friendliness. Every sip ofwine and bite was delicious: Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Broiled Salmon (really medium rare), Grilled Beef Tenderloin Medallions inMushroom Sauce and Roquefort; amazing Lemon Creme Brulee and Orchard Tart with carmel sauce. I visited Froggy’s with a friend for the first time. What a special place. Service was quick. Our waiter was so helpful with... the menu and wine selection. Ordered the artichoke cold plate, a mushroom ravioli for appetizers and filet medallions as themain course. A beautiful well priced bottle of Alexander Valley wine was a great compliment to our meal. Bread pudding dessertwas decadent. This is a lovely place to visit in Highwood, especially if you like French cuisine. Read more
We came here tonight on a whim after being scared off from another restaurant where they literally could not fit more people in... than were there. Highwood as a whole is dicey about distancing, so fair warning. Anyway, we stopped in to check out the menuand while slightly limited, a really good variety of both apps, meals and drinks. And while they also had a decent crowd,tables are decently spread out and we were much more comfortable here. To start, the drinks (martinis) were well made and thebeer selection is one of the better ones in town. Apps were fantastic...tons of selection and the mushroom and truffle ravioliwere excellent. Mains are where it's a bit limited, but good split of meat v fish. Little heavy on the fish v meat for a Frenchrestaurant, but in the end, not a big deal. We had the beef tenderloin and duck and both were solid. We were too full fordessert, but there was a great menu as well. Great staff as well, which was a bonus as the current labor squeeze has resulted insome sub-optimal service at other places of late. Give it a try! Read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. For starters, we ordered a cheese plate as our appetizer and there was mold on... the cheese (see photo). Secondly, there were fruit flies flying around the table (that should’ve been the sign to leave) andone even landed in my glass of wine. On top of that, the server did not have clue about any items on the menu and service waspoor for how dead the restaurant was.There were umbrellas covering the ceiling as what seems to be some kind of strangedecorating style. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, specifically for the food and fruit flies alone. Read more
Fast and friendly service are the highlights of my experience at Froggy's. As soon as we were seated, we were greeted by our... server and drinks were promptly brought. And the food! It was wonderful, most of our party ordered the fish special and reallyenjoyed it. I ordered the rack of lamb and it melted in my mouth, it was so tender. They have an open air dining room, and itgot a little warm on a summer night, but I wasn't uncomfortable. Read more
