I loved this restaurant, the food and the service! Food is very tasty. I ordered their smoky margarita( i think that is what is... called) it has a jalapeño but is not spicy. The food was tasty specially that green cilantro sauce with the plantains chipsthey put in front of you! I would highly recommend the arepas as appetizer they were the bomb! They also have a beautifulrooftop and second floor that looks like you are dinning in a nice apartment. Now the desert, how do i even start! The besitosare a must… I can honestly say I are so much i could not even get up. The waitress Stephanie was a sweetheart and she knowsher stuff. The food is amazing, the service not so much. I don’t think it was a staff issue, more so the manager. First when we got... there, he didn’t see our reservation at first, a staff member came over and pointed it out to him. Later I noticed the samemanager motion to our waiter and he quickly brought the bill to our table, we were still drinking cocktails and enjoying timewith friends. No big deal at first, but the second we signed off on the check the manager came over and told us he needed ourtable. Without a bar that you can go hang out at, my husband gulped down his drink and we headed out. We all felt thrownoff my the situation and have never had that happen anywhere before. The food is pricy, so I wouldn’t expect that from them. I understand it’s a tiny restaurant, but the treatment we received was unnecessary. Maybe we were underdressed fordinner? First time here! We enjoyed the food. You can definitely feel the care that went into the preparation of the meal. My wife is... vegetarian and they had many options for her which is great since I eat me and she doesn't. I had the chicken with came withmashed potatoes. Portion was perfect and excellent preparation. They provide fried plantain chips and chimichur salsa. We willvisit again!!! Read more
Amazing! Everything we ate was delicious. From the plantain chips to the pork arepas to the salmon to the chicken and steak. ... Absolutely wonderful. The service was fantastic as well. When we mentioned it was our first time they bought us the dessert ofdonuts filled with dulche de leche. Which was the perfect end to our meal. 100% will be back.
