The Carne asada dinner was flavorful!! Asked for it medium and got it medium. Some places will make it well done regardless of... how you ask for it but this place made it correctly. The waitress was very nice. Read more
Very unpleasant & unwelcoming restaurant. I was not greeted nor when I stood by the register with the cashier she didn?t even... acknowledge me. I will never spend my money where I am not welcomed so I left. Not sure if it?s because of my skin color yet Ibelieve that?s what it is. I regret that I had to click on the one star but I did it so I can write my review. Great food at a low price. Lost one star because I felt unwelcome. Both the hostess and the server were short with us, seemingly... irritated at our presence. Same unwelcoming experience both taking out and dining in. Read more
It's shocking to me that this place has such good reviews in general. I have not been this uncomfortable in a restaurant setting... in a long time. The actual restaurant is absolutely filthy...the walls inches high in dirt and webs, booths and tables unstableand cheap. Upon entering the seating layout is extremely awkward. Apparently customers are supposed to seat themselves-it wouldbe nice if there was a sign communicating this. The food was even worse. The salsa tasted like dirty dish water and the beeftacos were poorly executed. It was barely edible. We thought this would be the same place as the Tacos el Norte on Rockland thatis closed on Sundays. There's no way these two are similar. We will never come back to this restaurant. Read more
