Been coming here for 20+ years, and anyone/everyone introduce to it fall in love with their food, just as much as I have been,... for 2+ decades! Best Mexican food around, bar none! Read more

The Carne asada dinner was flavorful!! Asked for it medium and got it medium. Some places will make it well done regardless of... how you ask for it but this place made it correctly. The waitress was very nice. Read more

Very unpleasant & unwelcoming restaurant. I was not greeted nor when I stood by the register with the cashier she didn?t even... acknowledge me. I will never spend my money where I am not welcomed so I left. Not sure if it?s because of my skin color yet Ibelieve that?s what it is. I regret that I had to click on the one star but I did it so I can write my review. I hope they readthis & upgrade their hospitality because it?s not right to be rude to people that want to support your business. Read more

Great food at a low price. Lost one star because I felt unwelcome. Both the hostess and the server were short with us, seemingly... irritated at our presence. Same unwelcoming experience both taking out and dining in. Read more

It's shocking to me that this place has such good reviews in general. I have not been this uncomfortable in a restaurant setting... in a long time. The actual restaurant is absolutely filthy...the walls inches high in dirt and webs, booths and tables unstableand cheap. Upon entering the seating layout is extremely awkward. Apparently customers are supposed to seat themselves-it wouldbe nice if there was a sign communicating this. The food was even worse. The salsa tasted like dirty dish water and the beeftacos were poorly executed. It was barely edible. We thought this would be the same place as the Tacos el Norte on Rockland thatis closed on Sundays. There's no way these two are similar. We will never come back to this restaurant. Read more

Superlative everything. The team at Tacos El Norte is the warmest, most caring, talented, and fun group you?ll ever encounter in... a restaurant setting. Everything on the menu is expertly prepared, made from scratch and on-site, and is the most authenticyou?ll find. A rare find. Don?t mistake any of the other area Tacos El Norte locations for this one; they?re clearly not. Read more

Good Mexican traditional food. Price is ok but on the high end. Loved their lamb meat inside taco shell.

Found this place because I wanted something tasty and to-go and El Norte did not disappoint. I wanted to try a few different... tacos so I ordered fish, carnitas, and al pastor, with avocado as an extra. Four tacos were super filling, these seem a littlelarger than the average taco. The fish was excellent and nicely grilled! And the carnitas were very good. I like that there wasactual pineapple in the al pastor. The green sauce was delicious without being too spicy, and the red sauce (maybe chile dearbol?) was a little spicier but very good. The service was terrific, from the waiter to the cashier - everyone was kind, respectful, and friendly. COVID note: all the staff wore masks, including everyone in the kitchen, visible from behind thecashier counter. There were a few tables for outdoor seating in the parking lot. Read more
