Amazing fresh seafood. Fish and chips is simple but so good ???? We loved chowder and the place in general. Lots of small things... about the place to love and enjoy. Wow! We almost missed it. We were directed here for dinner on our last night in town but we arrived after they were closing... :-( We stopped for lunch the next day on our way out of Twillingate and popped in just as they were opening :-)) Absolutelyamazing seafood chowder and scallops (best ever). We ordered lobster rolls to go for the road and we had to force ourselves notto dig into them before even getting out of the parking lot. HIGHLY recommended. Everything was so fresh and delicious at a reasonable price and the staffs were so friendly! We ordered a seafood chowder, a... crab meat Kaiser sandwich, and a fish cake set - every single dish tasted absolutely amazing. There was more seafood than brothin the chowder and the crab meat sandwich was the best I?ve ever had. We arrived 5:30 pm and beat the rush - snagged one of eight tables inside. The waitresses were very helpful and attentive, in... what is a quaintly furnished dining room. Not to fear: they put everything into making simply superb food. We had the SeafoodChowder, 4 Fish Cakes and Lobster Salad Kaiser for our main. Wow. Chowder was packed with seafood and nicely seasoned. Fishcakes came with a Rhubarb Relish that complemented the cakes magnificently (sorry, no pictures, we were hungry!) The lobstersalad kaiser & garden salad was simply outstanding and of a manageable size after the chowder and cakes. One of the best seafoodrestaurants I have ever been to. You simply gotta eat here. We were visiting Trilingate a week ago, and decided to try this place for lunch based on its high rating. It totally exceeded... our expectations. We were a group of 3 families. Our family ordered a 2-lb lobster meal, snow crabs and chicken nuggets. Lobstermeal is a relatively simple dish, but they made it to perfection: perfect saltiness and perfect tenderness. The side gardensalad was so fresh and tasty. The garlic butter dipping sauce did a great job of neutralizing the richness of the Lobster meat.The Lobster meal easily deserves a 6 star rating. My wife's snow crab was also perfectly cooked, not salty like many otherplaces. I was surprised to see my 12 year old son, a picky eater, finished his chicken nuggets in a couple of minutes and thefries in another couple. He said they were great. Not only did they have superb food, they had an excellent view of the sea. Thewaitress was friendly, efficient and professional. The prices were very reasonable. Their lobsters were all live, from theirhuge warehouse next door. The other two families had the same satisfaction. When we finished our meal, we said to ourselves,"Let's eat here again for dinner". Unfortunately we didn't come back due to itinerary and schedule constraints, which weregretted later. The best Lobster meal ever. The only catch is that this place seems to take cash only.
