Love Dicarlos!!! But please stop making the crust to thin! Last 2 times I?ve ordered, the crust is being made waaaaaay to thin... and hardly any of your delicious sauce :( Please stay true to your original way of making this normally perfect pizza. Iwould?ve given a 5.0, but this location is under new ownership and seems like they are doing things differently. All theingredients are the same by taste, but this pizza is being made completely different. Stop skimping, and charging almost twiceas much. Sincerely a loyal customer of 10 years. Read more

Yelp im a believer now!. I will admit I've posted some lunchable jokes, but the jokes on me. Tried it for the first time and... loved it!. Im not a cheese eater except for pizza(sorry gang just dont like cheese). Talked to the owner about my cheese issue. He explained how their style of pizza is to be presented(which is more than far to say imo), but he made it my way anyway. Ihave to say I absolutely will back! Much love! Had to take a bite before We got in the car. Read more

I wish I would have taken a photo, but the truth of the matter is..my pizza didn't last that long! I am an Italian from... Steubenville, Ohio, which is the home of the original Di Carlo's Pizza! Steubenville is heavily Italian, and I grew up eatingvery authentic Italian food. The Steubenville store has been around since 1945, which longer than I have. From the time I wasa small child, I have enjoyed Di Carlo's and this pizza is FABULOUS! Di Carlo's pizza is made from quality ingredients. Not onlyis it an excellent value for the money, but the crust is a thicker, Sicilian style crust and it is topped with their signaturesauce and baked. At that point, the cheese is added and melts into the pie for the perfect slice. I like mine without pepperoniand all of that, but you can order it how you like. It is a very authentic experience. I was running late and not to be rude, but because I live a distance away. The owner was kind enough to stay open a couple of moments for me to pick it up. You see,I am willing to drive from the neighboring county for this pizza. If you love Italian food, give Di Carlo's a try and support alocal business! Read more

Their pizza is one of a kind. The crust is homemade and the cheese is always fresh. But the best part of the pizza is the cold... cheese on top. It makes you have to eat the pizza in the car before going home or getting a take and bake to try to recreate asimilar scenario at home. This no frills pizza shop is a staple to my week! Read more

No frills pizza, crunchy but not thin, with cold mozzarella cheese sold in bags to add on top. A very unique and delicious... experience. Definitely would recommend. Tucked near a gas station in Old Hilliard, this unassuming pizza parlor does anincredible job. It's menu is quite limited, just serving 4 toppings (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and banana peppers) andpepperoni rolls (a popular side item well-known in West Virginia that is essentially a simple calzone). Be sure to order atleast one bag of fresh provolone to sprinkle on top of your pizza. You can also order a cup of banana peppers as a cold toppingtoo. Heads up that as of Nov 2020, if you order online you won't have access to any toppings except for pepperoni. Call in yourorder if you want sausage, mushroom or banana peppers cooked on top. Nestled right next to a Sunoco off of Main St. in Hilliard, this is a unique style of pizza for the area. Apparently it's Ohio... Valley/Steubenville style, which I've never had before. If I were to describe it, it's like a thin/Sicilian hybrid - not thin, not super thick, but also not traditional. It seems like they use baking sheet pans with slightly higher edges to cook it orsomething. This pizza has me flummoxed - definitely not anywhere close to the normal styles found anywhere in central Ohio, soif you're looking for more of the same, don't bother going here. I ordered a 16 cut (their largest size) pepperoni and bananapepper, a 12 cut pepperoni and mushroom, 2 pizza rolls, and an Italian panwich. All of that was only $57 and for the amount offood, it was a reasonable price. The pizza is good, it's square cut, crispy on the outside, slightly doughy on the inside whichmakes for a good combo. The sauce is seemingly a more traditional heavy tomato base with minimal seasoning, which goes wellwith the crust. Cheese is good quality and appears to be put on after they cook the dough and sauce. Toppings were ok, couldhave been better. The pepperoni rolls were excellent, using the same dough as the pizza they fold it into a traditional rollswith pepperoni and cheese. Finally, the Italian panwich - this might have been the star of the whole show. Their panwichesalso use the same dough as the pizza, folded over and stuffed with ingredients, then pan fried to a golden brown deliciousness. The Italian panwich is their version of the Italian sub, but with the above dough instead of a sub bun. I do have a coupleknocks on the place - first the quality of the pepperoni. It almost seemed as if the Pepperoni was store bought Hormel orsomething, wasn't a huge fan. Second, for some odd reason they don't offer onions or green peppers as a topping, justbizzare. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, it's by far the biggest departure from all the ot Read more
