20 percent off advertising was not working through online ordering. Went into the store, showed them it wasn?t working and still... refused to honor their advertisement. To make it worse, they?re refused with attitudes. Asked to speak with a manger and theguy calls his mother. Well after he greeted his mom in front of us, she refused to honor it as well. Puzzling isn?t it? Theyliterally could not honor their own advertisement, needless to say we left and went somewhere else. Meh. If you are going to go through all the trouble of chewing food, you may as well go to City BBQ where the quality is much... higher. BBQ sauce itself was pretty weak and seemed watered down. If you are starving to death and happen to be a block awayfrom this place, sure, it won't kill you. But overall it almost made an impression if I wasn't so distracted by the mediocrity. Read more
Well, I had drove by this place several times going to eat at Rusty B next door. I never seen people inside the few times I... passed by. So I was on my way to Rusty B again today and I thought to myself, why is there no one inside Dickey?s BBQ, and Ithought if they are open I will give them a try to satisfy my interest. I walk in and the little place looks very nice andpresentable, however the lady who I believe to be the mother of the young man on the Cash register was not nice to me at all. Nogreeting or anything. I ask to sample the brisket and she looked quite upset and said we don?t usually do that, and then cut meone of the smallest slivers I?ve ever seen. She seem to be upset with me or the world. I felt like she didn?t like our care forme as a customer. I asked why she had such an attitude and she said ?It?s hot?. In thought that was a terrible excuse. I felttotally unwelcomed by her. This meal was a big disappointment. I was really excited about getting some barbecue with the usual yummy sides but Dickeys... didn't deliver. The place itself was very dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. I got the brisket, polish kielbasa sausage,BBQ beans,and baked potato casserole. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy any of the items at all. The brisket had an odd aftertaste,the kielbasa was very greasy, the BBQ beans tasted like them came out of a famous family can, and the casserole was bland. Ihope that you have a better experience. I was blown away by this rustic restaurant and would have no idea it us a chain restaurant! They offer a variety of foods, even... Ceasars salad for vegetarians, but also the unusual happens kalbasa that was smoked. The food us great! From the chicken, ribsto kalbasa, sides of mac and cheese to salad or potato salad and they offer drinks in small and large sizes. The barbecue saucesare a variety of sweet, spicy, and original, all with a subtle kick. The look to have great dessert options, but I was too full.The staff was helpful and all worth the money! My family ordered today through GrubHub. The delivery part was very quick; no issues. Now let's talk about the food. My... entire order of burnt ends was missing. The burnt ends in my husband's 3 meat plate were missing. The pickles and onions myson ordered on his sandwich were absent. The onions I ordered on my sandwich were absent. The green onions that were supposedto be on my son's buffalo chicken Mac stack were absent. The sweet barbecue sauce for my son's brisket in his old school platewas missing. Not one napkin to be seen. Hey, at least there was dressing for my son's Caesar salad, which consisted of romainein a kids drink cup!!
