First time here, not too bad. We've been trying to get in for years. Every time we came, the line was out the door, they were... closed, or some other random reason. Staff was friendly enough and kept our drinks full. I got the beef chimichanga, and whileit was good, I wished there was more beef or less refried beans. I'd like to get it again, but with chicken. This place used to be clean and friendly. They open at 11 am, I walk in at 11:15, sit down at the bar. I was given a drink... menu food menu and I was asked what I would like to order to drink. No smile, no how are you, nothing. While sitting there Inoticed that the bar top was not clean at all, with food, crumbs and drink circles! The woman behind the bar that took my orderseemed like she could have cared less about cleaning what had obviously been from the night before! I'm wondering if they'renot very concerned about the cleanliness in the serving area, what exactly does that suggest about the kitchen and it'scleanliness? I came here on my day off to have some beers, chips, salsa, Mexican food, and to relax. I walk in with no greeting, unfriendly... bar tender texting on her cell phone, a dirty sticky bar space , dirty old menus, and just felt invisible. the vibe was weirdon top of it all. 2 words for this place...No Bueno. pull it together over there man. The waiter was very nice but the bartender and manager were extremely rude. The bartender made a very bad drink and was... unwilling to fix her mistake. She was extremely aggressive and very angry. We have been to this restaurant many times and spenta lot of money here but we will NEVER go back. Hilliard can do better if they to bring people downtown. Read more

We love coming to Local Cantina! The tacos are amazing and they always have great drinks. We're big fans of the Crunchwheezy and... the Cantina fish tacos, but you can't go wrong with any of the options on the menu. The patio is very nice during the summer aswell. Read more
Fun place. Fun atmosphere. Nice patio & garage doors to enjoy a nice evening. Unlimited chips & salsa as expected. Food choices... is uniquely varied and typically prepared well. The challenge tends to come down to service. This evening we were a group of 4,in the 7:30-9:30pm window, amidst an under capacity crowd, let's say 3/4. Table service tends to be good - friendly, attempts tobe prompt when able. The prep, food & drink, but primarily food is where the struggle ensues. Difficult to discern where thedysfunction resides, but the dysfunction is real. Fix the coordination of the prep, and most ills will disappear. Read more
I can't say enough about these tacos. I have tried almost all of them and I tend to get tacos at least once to twice a week,... from here (I am pretty sure it is an addiction at this point). The colada-rita will have you begging for more, so be ready toenjoy those it is hard to stop after one. The candied jalapenos are amazing on the tacos, no other taco shop does them as well.My favorites are the Nashville Hot Chicken, Banh Mi, Hong Kong Phooey, and Tempura Shrimp. Read more
