Place is pretty chill. They just changed management to corporate so kind of a mess right now. Good lunch specials if you drink.... Better kitchen with the new ownership. Bartenders are nice. Read more

The food was alright. The waitstaff was friendly, albeit a bit slow at times. The tater tots were good, but the shrimp had huge,... thick veins in it. So the po'boy was less appetizing. Read more

Used to love going to this location but today was the last time I?ll go there to eat. I loved getting their shrimp poboy but... today I learned that they?ve made the sandwich smaller while still charging the same price. My son had a burger that was nothingbut grease. And for the entire meal, we were swatting away flies. Sad to see how much this place has gone downhill. The ceilingpanels are sagging and it just seems to be getting run down with little care from the proprietors. Will not be returningunfortunately. Read more

Great little pub, tucked away in an historic building on the main drag. When traveling, I always look to eat at the bar at a... pub. Staff is always friendly. They give you great recommendations and are usually open for a short conversation. I took therecommendation and got the Fish and Chips. Yep, they were great. Had a few local and regional beers. They also have a nicebourbon/whiskey selection as well. Love the vibe with the dark wood, and appropriate decor. Looking for a quieter place for abite and beer, this is a good choice. Read more

It was great! I know it's a chain but it was really good food. Clean and friendly and got seated right away. Service was... perfectly timed. Attentive but not invasive. Seems to be harder to find that these days so a big plus to the wait staff. Mythanks to them! Food: I had a bowl of clam chowder, an order of fried pickles and fish and chips. The clam chowder was notedon the menu as a house recipe. It was very good with a lot of clams. Big pieces not the ones so minced up you didnt know ifyou got a bite. A bit thicker than I prefer but really good. Fried pickles were perfect. Perfect. Big pickle spears withperfectly crunchy breading. Best I have had in 30 years. The fish and chips were also stellar. At least the fish was. Perfectly cooked perfectly battered and perfectly seasoned. It is not my #1 favorite fish and chips (that is at Payne's in GasCity IN) but for sure in my top 5. And the whitefish is not cod. Kind of a plus in my book if someone can make stellar fishand chips using something other than cod. The chips were steak fries and pretty average but that fish ..... Give them a try. I will go back. Lol probably tomorrow ... Read more
